Details about the upcoming WWE 2K26, specifically regarding Universe Mode, have been revealed. Fans can look forward to improvements like a new Universe Wizard and a revamped WWE Draft, making the mode more expansive and engaging than ever before. Let’s take a closer look at all the new features!
WWE 2K26 Universe Mode – Everything You Need to Know
WWE 2K26’s Universe Mode gets a major upgrade with the addition of the WWE Draft. Players can now trade Superstars between shows during a week-long event. You have full control over these drafts – you can customize them, remove them entirely, and even personalize them with a custom name and logo. In WWE 2K26, you can hold up to eight drafts throughout your career mode.
Players have extra options for setting up their game, including creating optional side drafts. They can also change the number of draft rounds and personalize the rules for selecting players.
WWE 2K26’s new Universe Wizard gives you extensive control over your league. You can select weekly shows, choose major pay-per-view events, assign Superstars, determine champions, and set the calendar – essentially shaping the entire season to your liking.
You can easily add shows you’ve already downloaded using the ‘Add New Show’ option, instead of creating them from scratch. You can also customize existing shows like Raw and SmackDown, changing various details. Each show supports up to eight championships for both men and women, plus two Money in the Bank briefcases.
In the latest version of the game, 2K26, the Money in the Bank system has been updated. Now, you can cash in your briefcase for any championship that’s available – you’re no longer limited to specific targets.
WWE 2K26 features enhanced Promos, including a new Post-Match Interview feature. After a match, the winner can use the interview to announce a switch to a different division, or discuss upcoming challengers. However, the loser can interrupt, remain composed, or even reignite the conflict.
Other Promos received improvements too, such as:
- Self-Promos: Superstars can turn heel, change division, or switch over to another show
- Call-Out / Interrupt: Expanded options for a Superstar that allows challengers to choose their match type or challenge for a title. Furthermore, Champions can accept title challenges for the following PLE.
- Open Challenge: Expanded to feature spontaneous title defenses.
WWE 2K26 expands customization in Universe mode with more sliders and settings. You’ll now have new matchmaking sliders to fine-tune how match cards are created and scored.
Overall, that includes the biggest improvements coming to WWE 2K26 Universe Mode.
