WWE 2K26 gets major Matt and Jeff Hardy confirmation

Wrestling fans are excited to hear that Jeff and Matt Hardy, known as The Hardy Boyz, are returning to the WWE 2K video game series after a several-year absence. WWE 2K26 officially announced their return in a video posted on social media just before players with early access began playing the game.

Matt and Jeff Hardy are thrilled to announce they’ll be included in WWE 2K26! Both Hardys will be added to the game as part of Season 4 of the Ringside Pass, which releases in July. This marks the first time Matt has been in the game since WWE 2K20, and Jeff since WWE 2K22.

WWE 2K26 will feature a massive roster of almost 400 playable characters – one of the largest in the game’s history. The initial game will include a mix of returning favorites and new faces, with even more characters being added throughout the year via Ringside Passes and downloadable content.

WWE stars Kelly Kelly and Torrie Wilson will be featured in Ringside Pass Seasons 2 and 3. Brie Bella, a WWE Hall of Famer, joins the lineup in Season 5. And for the upcoming 2K26 game, fellow Hall of Famers Typhoon and Earthquake will be included in Season 6 of the Ringside Pass.

WWE 2K26’s fourth season of Ringside Pass content is expected to release in July 2026, with the exact date still to be announced. This season will introduce a variety of new wrestlers from AAA, including Psycho Clown, Mr. Iguana, and Lady Flammer, among others.
