Kuro Games revealed that Wuthering Waves Version 3.2, titled ‘Resolution to Illuminate the Shadows,’ will be available on all platforms starting March 18th.
This update includes the fourth act of Chapter III in the main storyline, along with easier-to-earn Resonator rewards. We’ve also improved the motorbike, added a new High Quality graphics setting for newer phones and tablets, and included an option to adjust how far you can see on PC. Plus, there are many other enhancements!
Wuthering Waves is now released on iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5, and is also available on PC through Steam. For more information, check out the 3.2 stream from the game developers, Kuro Games.
Kuro Games, the developers of the popular action RPG Wuthering Waves, recently shared details about their next update, Version 3.2 – titled “Resolution to Illuminate the Shadows” – during a special preview broadcast.
The presentation will feature the newest story content: “Gold Suspended in Shadows” (Chapter III, Act IV) and its continuation, “Rabbit Reflected in Shades” (Segue: Afterstory). We’ll also be introducing Sigrika, a new playable character.
The latest broadcast revealed updates to Wuthering Waves, including changes to the challenging “Endstate Matrix” recurring events. These will now feature “Challenge Cycles” with multiple stages, starting with “Endstate Matrix: Doomsday Cycle” from Version 3.2 to 3.4. More information will be released soon.
Version 3.2 also adds new content like the Hyvatia Tactical Hologram challenge and new designs for the Expedition Motorbike (QUEEN and VIOLET). Players can look forward to new weapons – the Solsworn Ciphers – and several events: the Soar to the Beat rhythm event, the Gift of Solsworn login event, the Knights of the Wild challenge, and more.
The update also brings various gameplay improvements and quality-of-life enhancements.
During the “Ascendant Aces” Resonator trial event, you can immediately claim rewards for Resonators you’ve already completed in earlier versions – you won’t need to replay those challenges.
Updates to the Expedition Motorbike:
We’ve refined Autopilot to be smoother and more predictable. It now avoids obstacles with less sensitivity, which means fewer unnecessary, sudden turns while you’re driving.
The vehicle’s frame is designed to adjust to different surfaces. This helps prevent it from getting caught on small obstacles or rough ground, resulting in a more comfortable ride.
Improved Echo Management:
We’ve improved how Echoes are managed. You can now edit your plans for handling Echoes, letting you efficiently process them after creating a strategy. Plus, you can share and import these plans with other players.
With Smart Discard, you can get rid of unwanted Echoes using either a pre-set plan or a custom plan you create. Depending on the plan you choose, Smart Discard efficiently filters and removes the Echoes you own.
Okay, so my Echo Backpack is getting smarter! Basically, if I collect too many Echoes, the game will pop up and suggest I use Smart Discard to clean things up. And if I discard too many, it’ll remind me to use Data Merge to try and save them. It’s like the game is helping me manage my Echoes so I don’t waste anything!
Performance improvements:
New “High Quality” option available for compatible, higher-performance mobile devices
“Render Distance” option available on PC
Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 releases as a free game update on March 18, at 11pm ET / 8pm PT.
