Wuthering Waves 3.3: Denia Materials Pre-Farming Guide

The upcoming Version 3.3 update for Wuthering Waves is highly anticipated, marking the game’s second anniversary and introducing two new playable characters that players are excited to unlock.

We’re introducing Denia, a powerful 5-star character who specializes in Fusion Rectification, and she’ll be available in Phase 2. Like other 5-star characters, maximizing Denia’s potential requires a significant investment of time and resources. To be ready to use her right away, it’s best to start collecting the necessary materials beforehand – a process called ‘pre-farming’.

This guide covers everything you need to get Denia to level 90, fully upgrade her Forte skills, and maximize her Forged Dwarf Star weapon. We’ll also show you where to find all the necessary materials, so you can start collecting them now and skip the frustrating grind after the character is released.

Building Denia from the very beginning (Level 0) up to Level 90 and fully upgrading her Forte abilities requires a lot of different materials. You can find these materials by defeating enemies, collecting items found in the game world, completing weekly boss battles, and participating in Forgery Challenges.

How to Farm Denia’s Ascension Materials

Burning Judgment

You get this item by defeating the Reactor Husk in the Fangspire Chasm of the Roya Frostlands. Because you need 46 of them, it will cost a significant number of Waveplates, so it’s best to start collecting them early and use them wisely.

Moss Amber

This material is found in the Lahai-Roi region. You can collect it while exploring the open world, or buy a small amount each week from N.A.N.A. at Startorch Academy (Square). Because the shop has limited stock, it’s best to gather as much as you can yourself.

Mech Cores (LF, MF, HF, FF)

These items are commonly dropped by enemies. You can use the in-game Guidebook to find out which enemies drop Mech Cores and where to find them. Collecting these regularly will help you avoid running into problems later on.

Denia Forte and Signature Weapon Materials

Simply getting Denia to a higher level is just the beginning. Her real strength and usefulness come from improving her Forte abilities. Plus, if you want to get her special weapon, you’ll need to collect a completely different set of resources.

Forte Materials (Skill Upgrades)

Okay, so as a huge Denia fan, I’ve been figuring out how to get her fully powered up. To max out everything – her regular attacks, her Resonance Skill, her Liberation, and even her Forte Circuit – here’s what you need to do:

  • LF Mech Core x25
  • MF Mech Core x28
  • HF Mech Core x40
  • FF Mech Core x57
  • We Who Question x26
  • Spliced String x25
  • Broken String x28
  • Solidified String x55
  • Melodic String x67
  • Shell Credits x2,030,000

String Materials (Spliced → Melodic)

You can get these items from Forgery Challenges, found in the Guidebook. The rewards change daily, so check which challenge is currently offering what you need.

We Who Question

This new boss will be available weekly starting in Version 3.3. It’s important to fight it each week once unlocked to efficiently upgrade Denia’s talents and avoid falling behind.

Forte Upgrade Scaling

Upgrading Denia’s abilities takes increasingly more resources. While the first few levels only need common items like Spliced String and LF Mech Cores, later levels demand more complex materials.

  • Melodic Strings (high-tier drops)
  • FF Mech Cores (rarer enemy drops)
  • We Who Question (weekly boss)

Signature Weapon: Forged Dwarf Star Materials

Okay, so I’m really trying to max out Denia, and her special weapon is a HUGE help. If I want to get my Forged Dwarf Star from level 0 all the way to 90, here’s what I need…

  • LF Exoswarm Core x6
  • MF Exoswarm Core x6
  • HF Exoswarm Core x10
  • FF Exoswarm Core x12
  • Spliced String x6
  • Broken String x8
  • Solidified String x6
  • Melodic String x20
  • Shell Credits x330,000

Farming Exoswarm Cores

Exoswarm Cores are dropped by enemies and are similar to Mech Cores, but they come from a different type of enemy. The in-game Guidebook can help you find them quickly, and it’s best to collect them in groups to make farming faster.

Pre-Farming Tips for Denia in Wuthering Waves Version 3.3)

Getting ready for farming efficiently isn’t just about collecting the right materials. It also requires good time management and smart use of Waveplates. Here are a few helpful tips to make the process easier:

1. Prioritize Weekly Boss Materials Early

Because We Who Question is released gradually over time, make it a priority as soon as it’s available. Falling behind by even a week could seriously slow down your progress.

2. Farm Forgery Challenges Ahead To Save Waveplates

Because the Denia world boss isn’t available yet, you can get a head start by collecting the String materials needed for her Forte now, so it’s ready when she appears.

3. Stockpile Shell Credits

Upgrading several characters costs over 3 million credits, so you’ll probably need to spend some time specifically earning credits to avoid running out. It’s a good idea to set aside days just for that purpose.

4. Use the Guidebook Tracking System

Using the Guidebook to find Mech Cores and Exoswarm enemies makes farming faster and more effective.

5. Don’t Ignore Vendor Limits

Purchasing Moss Amber each week from N.A.N.A. may not seem like a big deal, but it can save you a lot of time and effort when gathering resources in the overworld.

Players are really looking forward to Denia in Wuthering Waves 3.3, and gathering her resources ahead of time will give you a big boost when the update releases. You can start collecting Mech Cores and String materials now, as those aren’t locked behind the new version’s content. Most of her other key materials will become available once Version 3.3 launches.
