Will Ferrell and Billy Eichner Revive ‘Billy on the Street’ and Ask Strangers: ‘Would You Have Sex With a Trump Voter?’

As a seasoned movie enthusiast and someone who has witnessed the evolution of comedy over the past few decades, I must say that Billy Eichner‘s revival of “Billy on The Street” is nothing short of exhilarating! It’s like watching a masterful comedian at work, using his unique brand of humor to tackle important issues in a way that both entertains and educates.

Billy Eichner brought back his well-known “Billy on the Street” show, this time teaming up with Will Ferrell. The duo, both known for their humor, were spotted roaming through New York City wearing loud white shirts bearing the slogan “Loud White Men for Kamala.

As a movie-loving aficionado, I found myself standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Ferrell. Together we approached strangers, extending a dollar bill and posing an intriguing question: “Would you be open to intimacy with someone who voted for Donald Trump?

They too questioned various passersby regarding their preferred Will Ferrell films, since some individuals reacted excitedly and shouted upon seeing the “Talladega Nights” actor.

In collaboration with Vote Save America, Swing Left, and additional partners, the “Billy on the Street” episode was produced, with Eichner and Ferrell urging viewers to sign up to vote and take action to avoid a second term for President Trump.

Hey there! We’re a group supporting Kamala, and we’d love for you to join our call. You mentioned you’ve already voted by mail, that’s great! Let’s chat about it.” (Eichner exclaimed excitedly)

Since its debut in 2011, ‘Billy on The Street’ has been a comedy game show that aired on multiple networks for five seasons. Notable guests included stars such as Nicole Kidman, Chris Pratt, Keegan-Michael Key, Andy Samberg, Lupita Nyong’o, Amy Poehler, Joan Rivers and many others. Ferrell had previously made appearances on the show in 2012 and 2015.

As a devoted fan, I’d say the series centers around me (Eichner) dashing through the bustling streets of New York City, grilling strangers about popular culture, often accompanied by an A-list celebrity buddy. The show took a brief hiatus in 2017, but Eichner hinted to Rolling Stone that it might make a comeback for select occasions. True to his word, the show was reborn in 2022 with an episode promoting my movie “Bros”, featuring guest star Paul Rudd.
