Wild Hearts S Demo Is Now Out On Switch 2, And You Can Transfer Your Save To Full Game

Since Monster Hunter Rise isn’t coming to Nintendo Switch 2, players hunting for giant creature combat on the system have an alternative with Koei Tecmo’s Wild Hearts. Now, a demo for Wild Hearts S is available, and data from this demo can be carried over to the complete game upon its release on July 25th.

In this demo, players can sample the prologue of the action-RPG (up to “Minato”) as stated by Koei Tecmo. This sneak peek at Wild Hearts S will also include battles against creatures such as Ragetail and Kingtusk. Notably, it offers co-operative play both online and locally, which extends to players who buy the full game in the future. What makes this demo unique is that Wild Hearts S allows for up to four players to join co-op, whereas the 2023 game only supported three. However, multiplayer will not be cross-platform.

Back in February 2023, I jumped headfirst into the thrilling world of Wild Hearts, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This exhilarating game was brought to us by Electronic Arts under their EA Originals banner, but for those gaming on Switch 2, it’s Koei Tecmo who’s handling the publication – so no need to fuss with an EA account for multiplayer! The masterminds behind this heart-pounding adventure are Omega Force, renowned for their work on the Dynasty Warriors series.

In contrast to the apparent similarities with the Monster Hunter series, Wild Hearts S introduces unique elements. One such difference is the use of mechanical creatures named Karakuri. These can be manipulated by players to construct climbing structures and also set up ziplines for swift traversal across various landscapes.
