Wicked x Stanley collection nearly cause “brawl” as fans clash at Target

As a dedicated Wicked fan, I have to admit that I was caught up in the whirlwind of excitement when the Stanley x Wicked collection dropped at Target! The anticipation leading up to the release was palpable, and the moment those green and pink cups hit the shelves, it felt like a magical rush.

As an enthusiastic fan myself, I can’t help but join the throng of fellow Wicked aficionados eagerly snatching up pieces from the extraordinary Stanley x Wicked collaboration. With limited stock, these unique items are flying off the shelves!

As a die-hard Wicked fan, I’m thrilled to be joining forces with the production as they gear up for the theatrical release on November 22. In celebration, I’ve designed four enchanting cups themed around this beloved musical!

In this collaboration between Stanley and Wicked, you’ll find two Stainless Steel H2.0 FlowState Quenchers: a 40-ounce version priced at $55 and a more compact 20-ounce version that costs $35.

The 40-ounce and 20-ounce Stanley cups are available in two distinct color schemes. One is an ombré of black and green, symbolizing Elphaba from the musical Wicked, while the other features a vibrant pink base with golden and glittery highlights, representing Glinda.

Starting from Sunday, October 13, you’ll only be able to obtain this collection at Target stores and online. Interestingly, during the launch of Target, Wicked fans came close to having a scuffle as they tried to amass these items.

In a popular TikTok post by a worried spectator, they filmed a crowd storming the shelves at Target. “It almost turned into a scuffle over Wicked Stanley products,” they commented. “People were pushing their way through. It was absolutely chaotic,” they continued.

Additionally, the TikTok user claimed that some customers attempted to forcefully take a Wicked-themed toy Stanley away from her child.

As a fellow gamer, let me share an interesting sight I recently came across – even amidst the heat of the gaming session, a TikToker and her crew unveiled their unique take on Elphaba’s iconic Stanley cosplays.

It’s not surprising that fans made quite a fuss about “just a cup,” as it’s not uncommon for collaborations involving Stanley to spark a craze.

In July, pop artist Olivia Rodrigo joined forces with Stanley to launch a tumbler designed based on her ‘GUTS’ album. To prevent bots and excessive buyers from purchasing multiple items at once, the collaborators introduced a system to regulate sales.

In September, videos of Stanley owners garnered attention online as they added various accessories and snack containers to their drink tumblers, creating a convenient all-in-one setup for themselves.

How to get Wicked x Stanley collection

Customers can acquire the Stanley products with a witchy theme by purchasing them from Target’s online shop. Meanwhile, both the Elphaba and Glinda cups can be found in physical Target stores while supplies last.
