Apple TV+ won’t stream a new Murderbot episode tonight as the show has ended.
The final episode of the show was broadcasted on July 11, 2025. Fans had hoped for more installments given the captivating narrative of the series. In recent times, streaming services have chosen to distribute their shows in parts to sustain interest. However, Murderbot opted against this approach, instead releasing all its 10 episodes on a weekly basis, according to their specified dates and times.
In the recent episode, Corporation Rim technicians erased Murderbot’s memories following a system restart, then fitted a new control module. The PresAux team attempted to purchase the SecUnit and warned of legal action, but company officials declined since the SecUnit’s memory had been erased. Eventually, Gurathin retrieved the data from the memory wipe process. Murderbot was ultimately saved and offered the chance to live as a free entity on the planet. However, in the end, it departed aboard a transport ship, masquerading as a service robot.
In this season, no additional episodes are available, but Murderbot has been given a green light for another season on Apple TV+. The creators and executive producers, Chris and Paul Weitz, expressed their gratitude for the positive reception to Murderbot and excitement about returning to Martha Wells’ world to collaborate with Alexander, Apple, CBS Studios, and the rest of the team.
Matt Cherniss, Apple TV+’s programming chief, went on to say, “Chris, Paul, Alexander, and the rest of the Murderbot crew have crafted an exceptionally unique, engaging, humorous, and lively adaptation that has left everyone captivated.
