Get ready for Season 5 of Single’s Inferno! With the trailer and official posters now released, we’ve compiled information on all the cast members who have been confirmed or are expected to appear.
Netflix’s Single’s Inferno has become a hit dating show around the world, and its success is partly due to its unique approach. Unlike quick-moving shows like Love Island, viewers appreciate the show’s focus on building genuine connections over time.
Season 4 had its share of love, conflict, and unexpected twists. We saw four new couples come together at the end, and now a fresh group of singles are heading to the island to find their match.
We don’t know all of the Season 5 cast yet, but the recently released trailer and poster have shown us some of the participants and gotten people talking about who else might be joining the show.
Single’s Inferno Season 5 cast makes major change
Viewers of the Netflix show Single’s Inferno said Season 4 had too many recognizable contestants. The show’s creators have responded by aiming for a more diverse cast this season, though a few familiar faces still remain.
During the search for contestants for Season 5, producer Kim Jae-won explained (according to Star News) that after finding social media casting limiting last year, he decided to look for people in public. However, he noted that it’s been difficult because fewer people are out and about due to the current economic hardship.
I checked out popular spots for young people, but surprisingly, they were empty on a Friday night. So, we went back to basics and made paper flyers. We posted them in places where we thought our ideal cast members – like gyms, hair salons, and restaurants – would hang out, and then we waited to see what would happen.
The producers of Single’s Inferno Season 5 have announced it will feature the largest cast ever, including several standout female contestants. Here’s a look at who’s been confirmed or is rumored to be appearing on the show:
Kim Min-ji

Okay, so a lot of people might know Kim Min-ji, but she’s not famous for being an influencer or a model. She’s actually a really talented track and field athlete! She went to Chungbuk Sports High School, and then she got her degree in Physical Education from Changwon National University. It’s cool to see athletes focusing on their education too.
She excels in both the 400-meter and 400-meter hurdle races, and has a history of winning competitions. Her success began in 2014 when she won the 400m hurdles at the National Middle and High School Athletics Championships.
Min-ji isn’t new to television; she’s been on shows like Mystery Music Show Mask Singer and King of Survival: Tribal War before.
Min-ji currently has more than 450,000 followers on Instagram – you can follow her here.
Lim Sung-jin

Lim Sung-jin, a 27-year-old volleyball player from Single’s Inferno Season 5, is an outside hitter for the Uijeongbu KB Insurance Stars in the V-League. He’s been building his athletic career since attending Sungkyunkwan University in 2018.
Similar to his colleague, Sung-jin has previous television experience. He once appeared on the show Spike War as a temporary coach, helping a team achieve their first win.
Before he even started working on the Netflix show, Sung-jin had already gained over a million followers on Instagram – you can find his profile here.
Kim Go-eun

Kim Go-eun is a model who gained recognition as the first runner-up in the 2022 Miss Korea pageant. She’s also the daughter of Kim Hyun-soo, a former professional soccer player for the national team, and a graduate of Inha University. This Kim Go-eun is a different person than the actress with the same name.
Last year, people began speculating that Go-eun and singer G-Dragon were a couple after they were seen together at a soccer game in Japan. However, G-Dragon’s team quickly denied the rumors, stating they were simply close friends, like siblings.
Okay, so it looks like Go-eun is probably going to be in Season 5 of that Netflix show – people think they spotted her on the poster! She’s pretty popular, with over 43,000 followers on Instagram if you want to check her out.

Okay, so I’m hearing Kim Ji-han might be joining the cast, which would be awesome! If it’s true, he’d be the second volleyball pro to sign on. He’s 26 and plays outside hitter for Seoul Woori Card Woori Won over in the Korean V-League – a seriously talented player, if the rumors are to be believed.
He has more than 38,000 followers on Instagram – you can join them here.
Danny Koo
