In simple terms, we’ve reached the final episode of The Devil’s Plan Season 2, also known as “Death Room”. This concluding part unveils the victor of this season on Netflix and the substantial amount of money they’ll be taking home.
In the heat of the gaming arena, I found myself among 14 other competitors, where wit rather than strength reigned supreme. We tackled a string of intricate challenges and prison-style matches, each victory earning rewards and those falling short facing elimination.
Throughout each mission, there was an opportunity to increase the total award amount, which could reach approximately 500 million won (approximately $360k). Over the span of twelve episodes, the contestants in The Devil’s Plan Season 2 were gradually eliminated until only two remained.
However, just as actor Ha Seok-jin triumphed in The Devil’s Plan Season 1, it seems that a fresh victor has emerged. Be advised, the following contains potential spoilers!
Who won The Devil’s Plan Season 2?
In this latest season of “The Devil’s Plan,” it was Jung Hyun-gyu who emerged victorious, pocketing an impressive grand prize of approximately 380 million Korean won, or roughly $273,000 USD.
In the nail-biting climax, it all boiled down to just two contenders – none other than Hyun-gyu and Yoon So-hee. The epic showdown unfolded across three electrifying rounds, commencing with an intriguing betting game called Big or Small, a contest brimming with a powerful mental edge.
In the second round, they contested Bagh-Chal, an ancient strategy board game known for its intricacy. Ultimately, they engaged in a card game called Questions and Truth, which demands critical thinking. The player who triumphed in two games emerged victorious.
For the remainder of Season 2, everyone else in the cast looked on anxiously as Hyun-gyu played his final, nerve-wracking game. In the end, it was Hyun-gyu who emerged victorious and claimed the title.
Hyun-gyu, who studies at Seoul National University and is known for his role in EXchange 2 (Transit Love 2), confessed to his teammates that he had performed many questionable actions, which ultimately led him to claim the victory in The Devil’s Plan.
The rest of his team congratulates him, while Hyun-gyu thanks them for the experience.
