‘White Lotus’ Finale Ratings: 6.2 Million Viewers Watch Season 3 Shootout, Smashing Series Record by 30%

Season 3 “The White Lotus” concluded with more dead bodies and more viewers than ever.

6.2 million people watched last Sunday’s episode of the HBO drama, which represented a 30% increase compared to the previous series peak of 4.8 million viewers, achieved only the week prior. These figures encompass both the viewership measured by Nielsen on HBO’s cable channel and the streaming data from Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max platform.

Compared to the Season 2 finale and the Season 3 premiere, the number of viewers on Sunday surged by 51% and 158%, respectively, following the rise observed in Episode 7.

The third season of the show has consistently attracted a large audience, starting with a viewership of 2.4 million on its premiere date, which was a significant 57% increase compared to the Season 2 premiere. Viewership climbed further to 3.4 million with Episode 2 and remained steady with Episode 4. HBO did not reveal exact figures for Episodes 3 and 5, but Episode 6 broke all previous records by attracting 4.2 million viewers. This surpassed the previous record of 4.1 million set by the Season 2 finale. In a second record-breaking event, Episode 7 drew 4.8 million viewers, followed by an impressive 6.8 million for the season’s final episode (Episode 8).

Moreover, WBD shares that the viewership for Season 3’s premiere has nearly hit 20 million, and overall, the season is averaging around 16 million viewers.
