Simona Tabasco, fresh from her standout performance in Season 2 of “The White Lotus,” has been added to the cast for the upcoming chilling drama titled “Corporate Retreat.” This movie boasts an impressive lineup of stars, including Alan Ruck from “Succession,” Ashton Sanders known for “Moonlight,” and Rosanna Arquette, recognized for her role in “Pulp Fiction.
Aaron Fisher, known for “Inside the Rain”, will be directing the upcoming movie titled “Corporate Retreat”. Principal photography for this project begins in June. Uri Singer, recognized for “White Noise”, is producing the film. Along with Uri Singer, Aaron Fisher and Kerri Lee Romeo collaborated on writing the screenplay for this production.
Tabasco was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as a sharp and manipulative sex worker on HBO’s “The White Lotus,” and she also won a SAG Award in the Drama Ensemble category. In addition, she shared the screen with Sydney Sweeney in Michael Mohan’s psychological horror film “Immaculate,” which became a box office success upon its 2024 release. Prior to her role on HBO, Tabasco had starred in various Italian series and films, including appearances in the medical drama “Doc – Nelle tue mani” and the crime thriller “Perez.
A corporate retreat” refers to an event where key business leaders go on a team-building trip, but things take a dark turn when the trip’s organizer unveils a sinister plan that leads to a fierce battle for survival among the participants.
