WhistlinDiesel teases update video after arrest, jokes about driving Killdozer to court

WhistlinDiesel, a popular YouTuber, has spoken briefly about his arrest on November 12th through Instagram. He told his followers he’s planning to share a detailed explanation on YouTube soon, but needs time to film it.

Cody Detwiler was arrested in Williamson County, Tennessee, for allegedly not paying taxes. He was released later that day after posting a $2 million bond.

The 27-year-old had previously shared photos online showing police at his home and him being taken away in handcuffs. On November 16th, he announced he’ll fully explain what happened, but won’t discuss how he and his team are responding to the charge until after he releases a video about it.

Detwiler described the “arrest situation” as unusual and explained he wants to ensure the YouTube video about it is well-made before releasing it to the public. He didn’t say when the video would be available.

WhistlinDiesel responds to “selling out” accusations

Detwiler also used his Instagram stories to address viewers who claim he has “sold out.”

He explained that people often accuse others of “selling out.” He believes that truly selling out means sacrificing your personal values and beliefs for financial gain – essentially, compromising who you are for money.

He firmly stated that he hasn’t altered his approach, opinions, or presentation to satisfy advertisers or increase profits. He explained, “I’m not worried about upsetting people. If you don’t like what I do, you don’t have to watch. I do this because I genuinely enjoy it.”

Creator jokes about taking his Killdozer to court

In another video, Detwiler mentioned his court hearing on November 19th and playfully suggested he might arrive driving his full-sized Killdozer replica.

I just remembered my court date for the tax evasion case is soon, and I have my Killdozer,” he explained. “Instead of driving my Ferrari, I think I’ll take the Killdozer to court instead.”

He put out a call to his fans, asking if anyone could help transport his 160,000-pound, 12-foot-wide machine – nicknamed the Killdozer – to Franklin, Tennessee. He mentioned it would need special escorts and wide-load transportation. This is the same armored bulldozer he featured in a video planned for July 2025, where he famously crushed cars and even offered to legally tear down buildings for anyone with the proper permits.
