As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating through intricate game worlds, I can confidently say that the search for the Breaching Barrel in Powder and Steel’s Powder and Steel mission in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn was a true test of my skills. But fear not, fellow adventurer, for I have braved the treacherous terrain and deciphered the path to this elusive explosive.
If you’re having trouble locating the Breaching Barrel in the Powder and Steel mission of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, don’t worry – I’ve got you covered. Here’s a simple guide on where to find it.
What is the Breaching Barrel Location in Powder and Steel? (Flintlock Siege of Dawn)
To proceed further and access the Breaching Barrel, first search the surroundings for the distinctly marked Enki rift travel skulls. Fortunately, these skulls are conspicuously placed, allowing you to clear the area of pesky birds and adversaries before activating them, if needed. Take a look at the image below for their location, which is conveniently nearby.
As a gamer, I’d suggest this: First, I have to leap to the rift situated near the Watchtower. Next, I need to find the subsequent travel rift, which is located right across from the Watchtower. However, I can’t reach it directly, so I’ll need to use a powder dash from the Watchtower Rift to bridge the gap and get close enough for a zip over to the next rift.
As you approach the chasm and notice the suspended ledge above, take a moment to gaze upward before making your powder jump. The direction of your leap significantly influences both your trajectory and landing spot upon leaving the rift, so ensure you gain sufficient altitude by looking upwards prior to jumping straight out.
As a fan, I’d describe it like this in the first person: Hanging there, waiting for you is your reward of low-yield explosives. Go get it from that spot and make your way back to the passage, now hidden under rubble. Once you’re there, simply set it down and shoot it just as you would with any other Breaching Barrel.
