This guide is still in progress and will continue to be updated.

How to find every Elemental Vessel in Visions of Mana

In the course of completing Visions of Mana’s main storyline, you’ll encounter each of the eight Elemental Vessels. You might be curious about how and when they show up. Since these Vessels carry immense power, it can be challenging to exercise patience while waiting for them to appear in the narrative. Here, I will guide you on where to find each Elemental Vessel within Visions of Mana.

Where to find the Wind Vessel: The Sylphid Boomerang

As I tread on my path towards the Alm of Wind, I’ll find myself unexpectedly face-to-face with a towering white dragon named Ramcoh. This meeting will transpire as I venture into Aery Vale, the penultimate region preceding Longren, where my destination lies.

The dragon is going to place the Wind Artifact, which resembles a green and white winged boomerang, near you. This item, more formally recognized as the Sylphid Boomerang, derives its name from the Wind Element.

Two kids confess they secretly took an item from the village leader without his consent. They ask you to retrieve it since, given that you are the Spirit Protector, it’s likely the Chief will not be angry with you for returning it.

As I tread forward, I’m heading straight for the village. The chief is not hard to locate; he’s positioned roughly at the heart of the settlement, around midway along the main path, and you can spot him on the village’s left side.

The boomerang is yours to hold temporarily, but it will become fully yours a bit later, once Careena has joined your group.

Where to find the Moon Vessel: The Luna Globe

In the game, you’ll encounter the Moon Vessel, a vibrant object resembling a yellow and orange sphere encircled by multiple rings. Interestingly, this cosmic artifact, also known as the Luna Globe, shares striking similarities with the Sandglass, an item of great significance to the people of Etaern who believe it symbolizes timekeepers.

Morley guides you towards the Lefeya Drifts once more, and we’ll descend together to the icy lake nestled at the foot of the mountain.

In this scenario, the illumination of the Wind Vessel indicates that the Luna Globe lies beneath the ice.

… Somehow, Morley can pick up the Luna Globe once its location is revealed.

In Etaern, your group will revisit the day when Morley experienced the disappearance of the Parish’s folk.

Following the vision, Morley, embodying his youthful persona, dashes out of the starting point and hurries back towards the Lefeya Drifts in search of the Luna Globe. Meanwhile, Val retrieves it from where Morley’s older self had left it in the Parish, then pursues him.

When Morley regains consciousness after reunion, it’s time for you to battle a group of creatures, not too many but formidable. Once victorious, the Luna Globe becomes available for your use.

Where to find the Water Vessel: The Undine Flask

The Undine Flask is a special container for water, bestowed upon you by Prince Iain, who can be seen on the left in the picture, and Madeline, one of Morley’s three adopted sisters, as depicted on the right.

For a while now, the Water Vessel has been absent from Illystana. However, it seems Master Passar secretly took it and kept it hidden in his chambers for an uncertain duration. Remarkably, Madeline managed to retrieve it and gifts it to your group just before you embark on your journey to the Ruins. Your goal is to discover why water has ceased flowing in Illystana and its neighboring regions.

When you embark on your journey to Luka Ruins, carry the Undine Flask along with you. Utilize its abilities for healing your group, scaling up waterfalls, and engaging in combat against adversaries. Deeper within the ruins, you’ll encounter Passar and his crew, who confess their attempts to usurp the throne from Palamena and Prince Iain.

Afterward, he places a colossal crustacean-resembling being near you, requiring you to vanquish it to regain access to the palace.

The fight isn’t easy, but I recommend a lot of ranged attacks – so make sure that you’ve got ability seeds equipped to your wheels!

After you emerge triumphant, you’ll find yourself near the grand fountain in Illystana once more. It is here that Palamena will be crowned as the Water Alm. You will retain the Undine Flask for your travels, ready to be used whenever needed.
