Where to find Advanced Planetologist trainer in Dune Awakening. His location is well hidden

Following initial server hiccups, Dune Awakening has been steadily garnering interest, drawing in thousands (via SteamDB). It’s important to note that the game hasn’t officially launched yet, but it’s available for early access. As more people jump on board and delve into the mysteries of Arrakis, some may find themselves stumped at times, particularly when trying to locate the Advanced Planetologist trainer. This character can be a bit elusive. Here’s where you can find him.

How to find an Advanced Planetologist teacher in Dune Awakening

In the game Dune Awakening, there’s a captivating class named The Planetologist. If your goal is to excel in resource gathering and exploration, this class should be prioritized early on. To acquire it, converse with NPC Derek Chinara and accomplish the mission titled Minimic Film Recovery. You can find this character at Testing Station No. 2. Given that you’re seeking an advanced trainer, I presume you’ve already made its acquaintance.

You’ll have to discuss further training with Derek since he’s the sole planetologist trainer, but keep in mind he’s quite mobile. To advance your tasks, head over to Testing Station No. 197. But where can you find it exactly?

This place is situated within the Western Vermillius Gap. You’ll notice it as the red section on your map. To locate him, simply search for the black dot amidst the rocks. Unfortunately, he’s quite an active Non-Player Character (NPC). In order to progress his quests, you will need to visit multiple Testing Stations.

During your global journey in search of Derek Chinara, consider gathering valuable resources along the way. Should you desire Flour Sand, kindly refer to our helpful guide for its acquisition. Our guide offers an efficient method to find it without encountering Sandworms.
