As a seasoned Guardian who’s traversed through countless realms and fought off hordes of enemies with nary a flinch, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when perusing Xur’s wares in The Final Shape. His new business model is a testament to the ever-evolving nature of our shared destiny.
This week, you can find Xur in Destiny 2, arriving perfectly for the Season of the Revenant! Swing by his shop for a peek at his offerings. Known as an exotic arms and armor dealer, Xur also carries several Legendary-class items if you’re aiming to give your Guardian a stylish combat edge. Here is where Xur can be found this week and the goods he has up for grabs.
This week, Xur is providing the catalysts for the exotic weapons ‘Black Talon’ and ‘The Wardcliff Coil’, as well as the exotic armor pieces – ‘Wormhusk Crown’ for Hunters, ‘Helm of Saint-14’ for Titans, and ‘Felwinter’s Helm’ for Warlocks. If you need an exotic weapon this week, Xur has ‘Hawkmoon’, ‘Crimson’, ‘Coldheart’, ‘Black Talon’, and ‘Cobaltess’.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that from the second week of Episode: Revenant onwards, Xur will also offer an Exotic skimmer called the “Xurfboard.” If you missed out on the Guardian Games earlier this year and didn’t acquire one, you’ll have another chance to get it from Xur, the squid-faced merchant. However, be prepared for a hefty price tag as Xur will be selling the hoverboard for 97 Strange Coins.
Xur Location
Begin at the Tower and take a turn right after encountering Banshee-44. Proceed down the stairs, follow the path, and once you reach the marketplace (Bazaar), turn right onto the adjacent side street. You’ll locate Xur in his designated nook here, prepared to offer his newest items for sale if you have enough Strange Coins on hand. For information on obtaining this currency, consult our guide on earning it through various rituals.

Exotic Armor
Wormhusk Crown (Exotic Hunter helmet)
This Wormhusk Crown is a versatile helmet suitable for Player versus Player (PvP) situations and critical instances in Player versus Environment (PvE). The Burning Souls perk offers a minor boost to both health and shield when you skillfully dodge, which can be beneficial in tense scenarios. However, it’s important to note that the stats are generally quite modest throughout. The helmet primarily focuses on Intellect and mobility, but if you choose this helmet, you might find yourself with significant deficiencies in defense.
- Mobility: 13
- Resilience: 8
- Recovery: 9
- Discipline: 12
- Intellect: 14
- Strength: 8
- Total: 62
Helm of Saint-14 (Exotic Titan helmet)
For the Titan who likes to be the best line of defense, Helm of Saint-14 is great. If you have your Ward of Dawn Super active, enemies who enter it will be blinded, while allies who pass through it get a weapon damage boost. If you use the Sentinel Shield Super, guarding with this ability will blind nearby targets. The stats on this roll emphasize building around your Super, as you get great resilience and intellect alongside a solid recovery stat. Strength and disicipline is a bit low on this Exotic, so you’ll need to use some armor mods to bring them up to speed.
- Mobility: 2
- Resilience: 19
- Recovery: 11
- Discipline: 9
- Intellect: 15
- Strength: 6
- Total: 62
Felwinter’s Helm (Exotic Warlock helmet)
The special ability of Felwinter’s Helm Exotic is to emit an energy burst that weakens opponents in close combat situations. This burst becomes more powerful and debilitating when used against strong enemies, either as finishing moves or final blows. If you prefer fighting enemies at close range, this Exotic could be a good choice for you. However, its stat distribution leaves much to be desired, particularly in terms of strength and recovery. The intellect is decent, but the mobility is excessively high and the recovery is nearly negligible. With the right setup, Felwinter’s Helm can be quite potent, but it might not be the best option for you this week.
- Mobility: 19
- Resilience: 10
- Recovery: 2
- Discipline: 10
- Intellect: 22
- Strength: 2
- Total: 65
Exotic Weapon Catalysts
Black Talon
In my gaming world, when I quickly defend an attack, it temporarily boosts the power of Crow’s Wings for a fleeting moment. Cool, huh?
The Wardcliff Coil
Pinpoint Guidance Module: Improved tracking on projectiles.

In the new setup of his business within The Final Shape, Xur now offers two rotating choices from his stock of Exotic weapon catalysts every week. These selections will include older catalysts that were obtained through random drops before The Witch Queen expansion, but will not contain any associated with quests, Exotic missions, Season Pass Exotics, campaign Exotics, preorder Exotics, raid Exotics, or dungeon Exotics.
On top of Hawkmoon, Xur will offer three randomly selected Exotic weapons for purchase. He continues to sell Legendary armor, weapons, and engrams that can reward any item from those pools at random. Similar to other vendors, Xur now has his own reputation system – the more you spend with him, the more rewards you’ll receive, including an Exotic Cipher after each rank reset.
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve found that when I accumulate 47 Strange Coins and spend them, Xur’s loyalty program activates. This special buff, called Strange Favor, lasts for eleven days. Interestingly, you can stack this buff up to three times, with each stack occurring once a week. This means you have increased chances of earning an extra Strange Coin from activities that normally reward you with this currency. Xur makes his appearance every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM Pacific Time or 1 PM Eastern Time, every Friday.
