When will The Chosen: Last Supper Part 2 hit theaters?

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that “The Chosen: Last Supper,” Part 1, has graced our cinemas, and if you’ve been hooked by the first two episodes, you’re undoubtedly eager to uncover the unfolding events in Part 2.

In the previous year, Season 4 of The Chosen raked in more than $38 million globally during its theatrical run, boosting the series’ overall earnings to almost $60 million.

It’s truly remarkable that this show, which began as an independently funded, crowd-supported project, has reached such heights. Today, it boasts Amazon’s support through a Prime Video deal, and its fifth season is being screened in movie theaters globally.

Today, March 28, marks the release of Part 1 in U.S. movie theaters, and here’s some exciting news: you won’t need to wait much longer to catch up with Part 2!

The Chosen: Last Supper Part 2 release date

In movie theaters starting April 4, 2025, you’ll find the second set of episodes from “The Chosen: Last Supper Part 2”, which are part of Season 5.

I regret to inform those of you residing outside the U.S., especially those in the UK, that you’ll have to hold off on watching Part 1 until April 10th. Unfortunately, neither Parts 2 nor 3 will be available in cinemas for you at this time.

How many episodes are in Part 2?

In the upcoming Season 5 of The Chosen, there are going to be three installments that make up Part 2 of The Last Supper, and altogether, this season will feature eight episodes in total.

It’s uncertain exactly how long the next episode will last, as Episode 1 was approximately an hour and a half, while Episode 2 was around 50 minutes. However, since episodes of The Chosen have gone up to 100 minutes in length, it seems reasonable to expect this one will be somewhere between 50-90 minutes.

Is The Chosen Season 5 Part 1 on streaming?

Unfortunately, you can’t currently stream The Chosen Season 5 Part 1 on any platform, but it’s anticipated to arrive on Amazon Prime Video around June.

In the livestream, I, Dallas Jenkins, clarified that as part of this agreement, we’re gaining some fantastic offerings from Prime Video. In return, for a period of 90 days following the theatrical release, our content will have an exclusive streaming window on Prime Video in the US. This means that for three months, you’ll be able to watch it first on Prime Video right here in the United States!

“So, after the season finale, there’s 90 more days, and then it will be in The Chosen app.”

How did Part 1 end?

In the finale of The Chosen Season 5 Part 1, Jesus’ act of purifying the temple intensified his conflict with Caiaphas. However, what carries greater significance is that this action made him a marked man.

Just a moment ago, Herod and Caiaphas conspired against Jesus’ life. In essence, Caiaphas advised, “Jesus is stirring up the crowd significantly. To avoid antagonizing your people more, ask them to remain patient until Jesus accidentally speaks out against Rome. Once they are riled up, they can deal with him first, leaving us free from any potential trouble.

After that, I strode into the game’s main hall, drew my virtual weapon, and started overturning tables and setting the captive creatures loose. The chaos was exhilarating!

“Look at what you’ve done to my father’s house… den of thieves,” he shouts.

Shortly afterward, it became common knowledge that even Pontius Pilate, his apostles, and Caiaphas, standing on the temple’s stairs, were questioning: “What have you done?” Judas inquired quietly, and the story concluded there.
