The film Mission: Impossible – Fallout brings an impressive end to the Ethan Hunt series, however, it’s exceptionally lengthy. Therefore, if you have a pressing need to use the restroom, it might be wise to leave for a brief moment.
In the eighth installment (apparently the last) of the Mission: Impossible series, titled “Final Reckoning,” Tom Cruise’s character, Ethan Hunt, faces off against a malevolent artificial intelligence known as The Entity.
Currently showing in UK theaters, we expressed in our 4-star review of Mission: Impossible – Fallout that Tom Cruise has elevated the action, emotional depth, and flawless storytelling to new heights. No true fan of the Mission: Impossible series will feel shortchanged after saying goodbye.
However, it’s important to note that the film runs quite long, totaling approximately 2 hours and 49 minutes, or 169 minutes in total. For those who might find such duration challenging, here are some suggested moments when you could make a quick bathroom break without missing too much action. Keep in mind that minor SPOILERS follow.
This way, the text is more conversational and easier to read while still conveying the same information about the length of the movie and suggesting possible times for restroom breaks.

As a dedicated gamer and movie enthusiast, I strongly advise against leaving your seat during Mission: Impossible – The Final Destination. Doing so would be missing out on an action-packed cinematic experience of the year, not to mention the culmination of a franchise that’s been thrilling audiences for close to three decades.
If you really need to take a break, we suggest doing so around the time when Ethan Hunt leaves the USS Bush and begins swimming towards the Sevastopol. This is approximately the 90-minute mark into the film, and there’s a brief, roughly 3-4 minute interval where not much happens on screen, providing you with an opportunity to take care of any needs you might have.
If a prolonged journey is required, the scenario unfolds with Ethan Hunt sneaking into a Russian submarine. He moves stealthily and cautiously as he navigates the ship.
This sequence is rather intense, and if you’re fond of underwater action, you might choose to disregard this suggestion. However, it does run for quite a while – approximately 20 minutes – so if you step away for a moment, when you come back, it’s probable that Hunt will still be swimming from one room to another.
In addition, this sequence is entirely devoid of speech, as Ethan performs solo, implying no words are spoken. Consequently, in a movie already rich with explanations, there’s no need for further dialogue to describe what The Entity is or their strategy to neutralize it.
As soon as Hayley Atwell’s character, Grace, reappears on screen, make sure you’re back in your seat so you don’t miss a thrilling side mission. However, even if you do, the movie’s storyline, with Ethan Hunt facing his Final Reckoning, will still be clear to follow.
