In the previous episode of The Last of Us, the facade of Ellie crumbled. When she confronted Nora in Lakehill, hidden away within a basement filled with spores, she stubbornly refused to disclose Abby’s location… leading to Ellie brutally attacking her with a pipe instead.
In the next scene, the episode abruptly ended in darkness, then jumped back to an earlier, calmer day where Joel was waking Ellie up. This is how Episode 6 begins, which centers solely around Joel and Ellie’s interactions between the end of Season 1 and the start of Season 2.
That means we could find out if Ellie knows about Joel’s lie, and we’ll get answers about Eugene.
