Ever since Art the Clown’s chilling debut in The 9th Circle (as I like to call it), I’ve been on a rollercoaster ride of terror and anticipation.
In the event that “Terrifier 4” turns out to be the concluding chapter of the Art the Clown storyline, here’s what we currently understand about the upcoming movie in this series if you’re eagerly awaiting it following “Terrifier 3”.
I’ve been gaming with fear for more than fifteen years now, ever since I first encountered Art the Clown back in Damien Leone’s The 9th Circle, a chilling short film featured in All Hallows’ Eve. This terrifying encounter eventually unfolded into the Terrifier series.
Currently, he’s undeniably known as a horror legend. Just glance at the earnings from Terrifier 3 – it has surpassed the total revenue of its earlier versions cumulatively, making it the highest-grossing unrated film in American cinema history.
There are whispers that Terrifier 4 might conclude the Art saga by having Leone confront Sienna. Many fans are abuzz, wondering how this potential showdown will unfold (beware of spoilers).
Is there a Terrifier 4 release date?
Terrifier 4 doesn’t have a release date, but it could be released sometime in 2026.
The first “Terrifier” movie came out in 2016 but didn’t hit theaters until 2018. Therefore, when “Terrifier 2” was released in 2022, it had been six years in production – this isn’t unexpected given that it was funded by fans.
After surpassing box office predictions, Terrifier 3 swiftly received approval for production, and it took just two years from that point until its release.

Who’s in the Terrifier 4 cast?
In Terrifier 4, we can expect two familiar faces: Lauren LaVera reprising her role as Sienna Shaw and David Howard Thornton returning as everyone’s favorite (or least favorite) character, Art the Clown.
There are uncertainties about the fate of other cast members. For instance, at the conclusion of Terrifier 3, Jonathan (Elliott Fulham) appears to have been killed off-screen by Art, yet numerous fans believe he might be alive. It’s a common trope in horror films: if death isn’t shown, it may not have occurred.
If Leone is still living, he’s maintaining a poker face about his feelings. In an interview with Collider, he admitted that the role in question is a highly debated and contentious aspect of the movie. He believes that viewers will find Terrifier 3 more satisfying on a narrative level when they watch it a second time.
According to him, presenting Jonathan’s demise immediately following the shower scene might be perceived as inappropriate or disrespectful, given the sensitive nature of the context (if you know, you know). Moreover, it could potentially be even more graphic or intense.
If Victoria (Samantha Scaffidi) isn’t brought back to life, we won’t see her again – although it’s not impossible that something extraordinary might occur.

Towards the end, it was Gabbie who was tragically drawn into a gateway to Hell, which emerged after Vicky’s bloody body hit the floor following Sienna’s fatal strike. Leone hinted to Fantastic Fest viewers that “Sienna must rescue Gabbie”, implying this will be her primary focus in the upcoming movie.
Regarding art, it seems that Vicky is back to being solitary once more, feeling perhaps frustrated or resentful, as Sienna outshone him in their artistic pursuits.
It turns out that Terrifier 3 might be one of the top films this year with hidden Christian themes, as well as numerous religious and biblical references. Director Damien Leone seems to have a knack for hitting the “target,” and I suspect that his ultimate goal is depicting the 9th level of Hell.

“I find myself questioning the value of all the feelings, hours, and effort I’ve invested in what has come before. I don’t want to fall into that same trap that many franchises face. So, I think one more movie might be enough to complete the story and bring this saga to a temporary close.
