What’s Coming to Netflix in August 2024

As a film and TV enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’m thrilled to share my perspective on the latest additions to Netflix‘s lineup. The diversity of genres and cultures in this list is truly astounding.

1. On August 2, Zack Snyder’s director’s cuts of “Rebel Moon – Part One” and “Rebel Moon – Part Two,” renamed respectively as “Chalice of Blood” and “Curse of Forgiveness,” will be available on Netflix. In the first part, Kora (played by Sofia Boutella), a young woman, gathers a group of mercenaries to defend her home colony against a ruthless warlord. In the second part, Kora leads her team back to their home colony to prepare its inhabitants for an impending war.

Towards the end of this month, comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan is set to premiere his third Netflix stand-up comedy special titled “Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats.” This upcoming performance marks his first stand-up special in six years, and it will be live-streamed on Aug 3.

Moreover, August saw the release of Season 4 (Part One) for “The Umbrella Academy”, Season 4 of “Emily in Paris” on the streaming platform, and “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie”.

Take a look below for Netflix’s full August schedule.
