What Kind of Real Housewives Live in Rhode Island?

What are common perceptions regarding Rhode Island? They usually involve the coastline, Del’s Lemonade, and Taylor Swift. However, Bravo has announced that “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” will be one of their upcoming shows in the next year, moving away from typical stereotypes like big hair and tans (RHONJ) or blonde hair and fewer tans (RHOC, RHOBH, and RHOM). Instead, the series promises to delve into a more intriguing topic: generational trauma. As suggested by the press release, the show will center around a close-knit group of Rhode Islanders with deep community ties and families that span generations. Despite their successful lives, thriving businesses, and complex family dynamics, these longstanding friendships reveal that in such a small state, one can’t escape their past or each other. We find this “Gilded Age” spin-off intriguing! It seems Bravo is still skeptical about the viability of the Housewives format in midwestern cities – are there no eccentric wealthy individuals in Chicago?

Apart from RHORI, Bravo also announced several new shows, such as “The Valley: A Persian Flavor,” which brings back former stars of “Shahs of Sunset” like Reza, MJ, and CG. There’s also “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Version,” where cast members from the Real Housewives series will swap lives with ordinary housewives to discover if the grass is really greener. Lastly, there’s “Ladies of London,” a British version of the Real Housewives reality show. This show is coming back for its first season since 2016, and since it needs a new cast, we recommend Bravo approach Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell, both of whom have recently moved to the British Isles. O’Donnell has already hinted at having issues with DeGeneres, and discussing fellow cast members with Andy Cohen is a big part of the job.
