We’ll have to wait for Ghost of Yotei on Steam. Here’s when it might land on PC

At last, we’ve set a launch date! The game “Ghost of Yotei” is scheduled to debut on PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025. However, an important query remains: when can we expect the PC version? Given that Ghost of Tsushima took some time before it appeared on Steam, here’s hoping for a smoother process this time around.

When will Ghost of Yotei land on Steam?

Sucker Punch Productions has unveiled a fresh trailer for “Ghost of Yotei,” and they’ve finally disclosed its release date! They’ve also shared details about the contents and prices of both the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. There’s plenty to digest here! Preorders will begin on May 2nd, so the excitement is definitely gathering momentum.

For all PC gamers eagerly awaiting the arrival of Ghost of Yotei, unfortunately, there’s no official confirmation about a PC version as of now. To put things into perspective, Ghost of Tsushima initially released on PlayStation in July 2020. The Director’s Cut (available for both PS4 and PS5 in August 2021) didn’t hit Steam until approximately four years later, following the original launch.

In the meantime, there remains a sliver of optimism that Ghost of Yotei may grace Steam soon. However, this could potentially be another lengthy delay unless Sony decides to expedite the process for a quicker release compared to last time. And there’s a strong argument for them to do so, as Ghost of Tsushima didn’t merely perform well on PC, it thrived. In fact, it surpassed God of War: Ragnarok and became Sony’s most successful single-player launch on this platform to date.
