Wednesday Season 2 trailer finally drops and fans have two big complaints

Here she is again! At long last, the eerie and intriguing sneak peek for Wednesday’s second season on Netflix has touched down, and despite appearances of an enjoyable experience, viewers of the series have voiced two significant criticisms.

It’s been approximately three years that feel like a lifetime, but the spinoff featuring the Addams Family will make its comeback in 2025.

In the upcoming series, Jenna Ortega will once again play the part of the macabre-themed princess with pigtails, joining forces with Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia) and Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), along with several others in key roles.

Most are planning to return to Nevermore for additional ghostly escapades, and a few newcomers will join them, among them the legendary Lady Gaga. However, if you’re eager to witness her performance, you’ll have to be patient.

Lady Gaga is missing in Wednesday Season 2 teaser trailer

The freshly released trailer undeniably hints at a lot of entertainment, featuring Wednesday and Thing engaging in mischief at the airport checkpoint, Enid exhibiting her usual antics at Nevermore, and some eerie-looking dolls adding to the suspense.

Nevertheless, spectators have expressed two concerns. Firstly, they’re disappointed that Lady Gaga isn’t making an appearance, and secondly, they find it problematic that Wednesday is being divided into two parts.

August 6, 2025 marks the premiere of Part 1, followed by the release of Part 2 on Netflix on September 3. This structure has sparked criticism, particularly given that there are just eight episodes in total. One user on X/Twitter voiced their disapproval, stating “PLEASE stop splitting seasons like this, it doesn’t make sense.

As a devoted fan, I adored Season 1, but waiting three long years for just eight episodes felt quite a stretch. To make matters more challenging, they split these episodes into parts. If it’s not too much to ask, could we perhaps have all eight episodes released together? The wait for three years was already a test of patience!

People have definitely noticed that Gaga isn’t around, as one person put it, “Where on earth is Gaga?” Another commented, “I haven’t seen a trace of Gaga anywhere.

At least we’re certain that it’s on its way, and we have a better understanding of the storyline. According to Netflix, “Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is back, stalking the eerie corridors of Nevermore Academy where new challenges and troubles lie in wait.

This coming season, Wednesday finds herself juggling family, friends, and past enemies, leading to another year filled with whimsically macabre chaos. Equipped with her trademark sharp humor and dry charisma, Wednesday encounters a fresh, spine-tingling supernatural enigma.
