The young star’s recent showmatch performance against the legendary Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev was nothing short of electrifying! While s1mple, the current GOAT of Counter-Strike, showed his prowess with impressive kill counts on Mirage and Nuke, it was donk’s unparalleled display on Dust2 that left me absolutely spellbound. With an astonishing 40 kills to just 6 deaths in 18 rounds, I can’t help but wonder if we might be witnessing the birth of a new GOAT right before our very eyes!

However, it’s intriguing to consider how he measures up against the legend of Counter-Strike, Oleksandr “s1mple,” who is temporarily absent from the scene.
It appears that a recent exhibition match showcased Danil “donk” Kryshkovets’ impressive skills, even against a renowned player like s1mple. Keep in mind that these results shouldn’t be taken as an “oh, donk is better than s1mple” data set. Instead, it’s just fun to see these two players match up, and donk’s performance definitely seems on the serious side, with 40 kills to 6 deaths being absolutely bonkers. Vadim “Evelone192” Kozakov’s team, along with player donk, emerged victorious in the showmatch with a 2-1 score. However, it wasn’t entirely one-sided in favor of donk compared to s1mple. Interestingly, on two out of the three maps, s1mple actually recorded more kills than donk!
On Mirage, s1mple scored 22 kills / 10 deaths while donk had 18 kills / 17 deaths. On Dust2, s1mple got crushed with 13 kills / 16 deaths compared to donk’s 40 kills / 6 deaths. However, on Nuke, despite donk’s team winning, s1mple scored 27 kills / 17 deaths while donk had 26 kills / 14 deaths.
Not bad, s1mple, not bad!
