As a long-time fan of both Warframe and its developer Digital Extreme, I was thrilled to learn about their upcoming game, Soulframe. The recent TennoCon 2024 conference unveiled some intriguing insights into this new free-to-play fantasy action game.

An intriguing aspect of Soulframe, an upcoming free-to-play fantasy action game by Warframe’s creators, is the character customization feature. While the release date remains uncertain, details about gameplay are emerging. At TennoCon 2024, a 17-minute video was unveiled, highlighting essential mechanics. Among these features, the ability to tailor our character’s mother stands out as the most captivating option.

A beautiful film interlude accompanies every scene, featuring an engaging battle sequence. The finale of these clips shows a woman cradling a baby in her arms. However, it’s essential to note that these video snippets do not encompass the entirety of our experience.

New Ancestor and the cursed hand

Based on my extensive experience with gaming and having reviewed countless gameplay videos, I can confidently say that the published footage holds a wealth of intriguing details. Let’s delve into some of the most significant aspects.

  1. The character we control will have a cursed hand, which “works” similarly to character classes. In the game, we will be able to change them to gain different abilities.
  2. Ancestors, i.e. spirits who will help us, play an important role in the game, especially when it comes to equipment. During the show, a new ancestor was presented, or rather an ancestress – a rat witch named Vermina. In the game, she will deal with alchemy.
  3. The gameplay presents the initial stage of the game, so we get insight into the first tasks we will have to do. We can also see one of the bosses – Nimrod.

Big update for Warframe
