Vitaly finally posts bail in Filipino harassment case but authorities keep him detained

In relation to his harassment case in the Philippines, Vitaly has paid the necessary bond (bail), however, he is not currently allowed to travel freely within the country at this time.

On April 2, 2025, the YouTube prankster known for his practical jokes was taken into custody. This followed a wave of viral videos and live streams showcasing him bothering people across the nation. In these clips, he is depicted impersonating a police officer, aggressively filming bystanders, and instigating minor traffic accidents.

Not long after being taken into custody, Vitaly admitted to the charges brought against him. On June 16th, an image appeared revealing that he had noticeably shed muscle mass and dropped pounds during his incarceration.

On the 22nd of June, Sundays specifically, Vitaly managed to secure his release on bond regarding his persistent harassment charges. Yet, this action does not imply that he’s no longer under any legal restrictions.

Vitaly detained by immigration after posting bail

Following his release on bail for the harassment charges, Vitaly found himself under the continued supervision of the authorities instead. However, this time it wasn’t the local authorities; it was the Bureau of Immigration who stepped in because there was an ongoing deportation case against him.

The Bureau’s Commissioner, Joel Anthony Viado, announced that a particular YouTuber would be restricted from traveling freely within the country. He explained that due to his current status, the individual is considered an unwelcome foreigner. It is expected that all foreign visitors comply with Philippine laws during their stay. The authorities will not tolerate misuse of our hospitality or disrespect towards our people and our nation.

The Bureau of Immigration has announced that they will delay the removal process for Vitaly, waiting until his legal matters are sorted out and any penalties he may receive have been fulfilled.

As stated by YouTube legal analyst LegalMindset, the individual in question may potentially serve a prison term lasting up to 18 months due to his offenses.
