Videographer Busted: Vitaly’s Cameraman Faces Charges in Philippines Court

Shortly following Vitaly’s arrest due to harassment incidents in the Philippines, his video collaborator has recently been indicted.

On the 3rd of April, 2025, popular streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was taken into custody following a string of controversial videos and live broadcasts that showcased him seemingly bothering residents, stealing items, attempting to kiss a security officer, among other questionable actions.

Currently, he’s being held by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration and has been detained in a communal cell without air conditioning for approximately three years.

Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that while Vitaly was the main focus of the content, the cameraman responsible for capturing those moments is also under investigation in the Philippines.

Man facing charges for filming Vitaly’s videos

As I’ve gathered from an article published in The Manila Times, it turns out that I, Slykane (Christopher Dantes), am being accused of being implicated in the creation of Vitaly’s controversial videos as well.

According to Claire Castro, the Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Malacañang Palace Press Officer, Christopher Dantes, also known as Skylane, is now facing charges, as reported by the PNP. This follows an incident involving Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, for whom Dantes was allegedly serving as a videographer or cameraman.

He faced accusations for unfair harassment under RA 10175, RA 9995, and the Anti-Cyberstalking Law concerning unauthorized recording or distribution of private images.

Authorities have indicated that Dante will have an opportunity to present his case and respond to the accusations prior to receiving a sentence for the alleged offenses.

A few days following his arrest, the Philippine President publicly criticized and disparaged Vitaly over his conduct within the nation.

One thing observed on Sunday was a disrespectful attitude from a foreign travel blogger towards our countrymen. Regardless of whether it was meant as a joke or not, isn’t it infuriating for any Filipino to watch such behavior? This is the sentiment expressed by Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.

We’ll make sure they can’t keep acting this way – it’s time to confront bullies, and the government supports you in bringing such individuals to light,” he emphasized.
