Victoria Beckham Gets Her Own Docuseries at Netflix

As a long-time admirer of Victoria Beckham, I am absolutely thrilled about her upcoming Netflix docuseries! From her Spice Girls days to becoming a modern fashion icon, Victoria’s journey is nothing short of inspiring.

After a captivating performance in his show last year, Victoria Beckham has earned her own documentary series on Netflix.

In the coming days, I’ll be sharing a captivating documentary series, detailing my transformation from a ’90s Spice Girls icon to a contemporary fashion influencer – a journey I’m honored to have embarked upon.

“Although she’s moved past her days as a Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham is currently working towards creating an entire fashion dynasty. Now, her followers can delve into the tale of its inception,” is one way to paraphrase the given logline.

The film guarantees the presence of Victoria, along with her family members, acquaintances, and work associates. It’s being created by David Beckham’s production company Studio 99, who previously worked on his documentary “Beckham,” in collaboration with Dorothy St Pictures.

A director has not yet been confirmed.

In the show “Beckham,” Victoria stood out as the standout performer, notably during a scene where David challenged her to confess that she wasn’t truly working class and had actually been dropped off at school in a limousine. This conversation has since gained popularity and is now well-known as a viral meme.

Previously, director Fisher Stevens revealed to EbMaster that he engaged Victoria in a 14-hour interview for Beckham’s documentary, chronicling the soccer legend’s journey from an ambitious sportsman to a football and fashion icon.

“His bond with Victoria hasn’t always been smooth sailing. There’s a lot of ongoing drama,” Stevens mentioned, hinting at speculations about David’s infidelities that were only hinted at in “Beckham.” However, he also shared: “In reality, I found their relationship quite touching towards the end, considering everything they’ve been through, and the depth of their love for each other, as well as their closeness.”

Nicola Howson, known as “Beckham,” collaborates with Julia Nottingham on the documentary about Victoria Beckham. (Previously, Nottingham produced “Pamela: A Love Story.”)

The announcement for the Victoria Beckham documentary was made at a Netflix gathering held during the Edinburgh TV festival. At this event, they revealed several upcoming documentaries, including ones about chef Gordon Ramsay, the 90s boy band Take That, the aftermath of the 7/7 London bombings, and sports promoters in the industry.
