To join, you need to finish the Trailblaze Mission called “Amphoreus: Fallen Petals, Leave Fading Traces of Fragrance.”

You can play this Trailblaze Mission early by using the ‘Leap of Trailblaze’ feature within Finality’s Vision.

2. New Characters

■ 5-Star Yao Guang (Elation: Physical)

Yao Guang is a Support character who boosts his team’s damage output. He can add extra ‘Aha Instants’ during battles and make all allies deal bonus Elation damage. He also has several ways to build up ‘Punchline’ and can use his ability to further increase his team’s Elation.

■ 5-Star Sparxie (Elation: Fire)

Sparxie is a damage-dealing character who uses Skill Points to inflict Elation damage. They generate a lot of ‘Punchlines,’ which boost the critical damage output of the entire team.

3. New Light Cones

Obtainable through the “Brilliant Fixation: When She Decided to See” Light Cone Event Warp.

■ 5-Star Dazzled by a Flowery World (Elation)

■ Duomension City

This city is the most lively in Planarcadia, and maybe the happiest in the whole universe.

■ Graphia Academy

Graphia Academy is an art school established by a renowned family of artists from Planarcadia, and it focuses on developing the skills of aspiring artists.

■ Dovebrook District

Duomension City grew up around the Dovebrook River, and the Dovebrook District was once the lively center of the city. However, it has since fallen on hard times and is now known as the most dangerous part of Planarcadia.

■”World’s End” Tavern

The Masked Fools’ base camp is where the path known as “World’s End” joins Planarcadia. Some describe it as a tavern, while others see it as a small outpost, but most members of the Masked Fools aren’t too concerned with labels. Just be sure to bring your sense of humor – it’s expected!

I’m so excited for the event! I get to try out the new “Novaflare” characters in special challenge stages. If I use a team that includes those characters and beat the stages, I’ll even get Stellar Jade as a reward! It’s a great way to test them out and get some goodies at the same time.

You get 5 Punchline at the beginning of every Wave or Cycle. Each time you gain Punchline, your Memory Turbulence Charge increases by the same amount, but it can’t go above 50 stacks.

Each time a new Cycle begins, “Memory Turbulence” attacks a single enemy, dealing damage equal to the number of Charge points you have.

Apocalyptic Shadow: Militant Lupine

2026/03/16 04:00 – 2026/04/27 03:59 (server time)

If an enemy with the “Steadfast Safeguard” ability is Weakness Broken, all your allies will have any harmful control effects removed, regain their Skill Points, and act immediately. Additionally, Aha will get an extra turn this round, and her attacks will always land (she’s guaranteed 10 hits).

Increases Elation DMG taken by all enemies by 25% and increases Weakness Break DMG by 15%.

We’ve added a new item to the Giftbox: the “Trendy Headpiece”! You can also find a limited-time bundle, “The Herta Contract: Special Pass Refill,” in the Contract Shop. For full details on these updates, see the “Version 4.0 Store Updates” notice.

The “Gift of Stardust” Store now has new items available! You can use Lone Stardust to get the “Vim and Vigor” and “Sparkly Rabbit and Fire Shroom” trailblaze outfits, as well as the “Duomension City Mobilization” and “Lend an Ear” avatars, and the “Phantasmoon: Blowing” name card.

A new item called “Ballon Furbo” is now available. When used, it will show you where one common treasure is hidden on maps connected to Planarcadia. Players can get Ballon Furbo by improving their Furbobocom Bestseller Rank.

This update includes new content like readable texts, messages, audio logs, achievements, database entries, and loading screen tips. You’ll unlock these gradually as you progress through the game.

Adjustments and Optimizations

■ Missions

Optimizes the text for certain story synopses.

As a player, I’m really happy to hear they’ve changed how we start the Penacony Trailblaze Mission, ‘The Fool Always Rings Twice,’ and the Adventure Mission, ‘Cosmic Home Décor Guide’! Instead of having to find a specific spot to start them, now you just need to talk to a certain character. It’s a much more natural way to begin the quests, and I think it’ll be way easier for everyone to get going!

■ Gameplay

We’re launching “Insight Mode” for Divergent Universe: Protean Hero, which will give you twice as many Synchronicity Points. You can find more information in the official update notice, “Divergent Universe: Protean Hero Update Details V4.0.”

■ Events

The “Starlit Homecoming” event has received an update. You can find full details in the official announcement: “Starlit Homecoming Event Update Details V4.0.”

■ System

Subsidiary Stat affixes that have yet to be revealed on Relics can now be previewed.

Adjusts the UI display of some elements in the Navigation.

Adjusts the interface style of the Quick Lineup.

We’ve made it easier to add Support characters to your team! You can now choose them using a new ‘Support’ button, or directly when quickly setting up your team.

We’ve improved how Assignments work! Now, Trailblazers can choose up to four Assignments, and you’ll automatically earn rewards from them every hour. You can save these rewards for up to 30 hours, but make sure to claim them before the time runs out, or they’ll stop building up.

We’ve improved how the “Character Guide” suggests teammates. The best teammate recommendations for some characters might be different after data updates.

■ Audio

“Phonograph” now features white noise playback function.

We’ve improved some of the spoken lines in the Trailblaze Missions “Amphoreus — Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne”, “Before Their Deaths”, “The Fall at Dawn’s Rise”, “Back to Earth in Evernight”, and “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday”. These changes also apply to the Finality Mission “Penacony — Memories are the Prelude to Dreams”, but only when the game’s voice language is set to English.

This update improves the sound of some character dialogue during the “Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant” Adventure Mission when played in English.

This update refines and improves some of the Japanese voice lines for the character March 7th, making her interactions sound more natural.

This update improves the timing and delivery of some Japanese voice lines during the “Penacony — Memories are the Prelude to Dreams” mission.

Hey, so I noticed something cool in the ‘Amphoreus — Back to Earth in Evernight’ Trailblaze Mission. If you’re playing with the Japanese voiceovers, they’ve tweaked some of the dialogue lines to sound even better and fit the story flow more smoothly. It’s a small thing, but it really adds to the experience!

This update improves the Korean voice acting in the “Cat Among Pigeons” Trailblaze Mission by refining some of the dialogue lines.

If a character already has Light Cones or Relics equipped, you can quickly view their details by simply tapping their icon in the Inventory.

We’ve added a way to discard Fuel Vouchers. If you reach the maximum number of Fuel Vouchers you can hold, you can now either use the ones you have or get rid of any extra.

Bug Fixes

■ Characters and Enemies

This update resolves a bug that caused The Dahlia’s (Nihility: Fire) Skill to sometimes activate incorrectly under specific conditions.

This update corrects a problem where Feixiao (The Hunt: Wind) and Kafka (Nihility: Lightning) – specifically when Kafka is enhanced – weren’t consistently targeting enemies correctly with their follow-up attacks. This occurred under certain conditions.

This update resolves a bug where Fu Xuan’s talent, ‘Liuren, the Sexagenary,’ could activate incorrectly multiple times on specific memosprites under certain conditions.

This update resolves a bug that caused the Souldragon’s actions in the Action Order to appear incorrectly when certain memo sprites used attacks.

This update resolves a problem where some characters didn’t choose targets correctly during auto-battles in certain situations.

This update resolves problems with how some character, NPC, enemy, visual, and movement animations appear in the game.

This update resolves a visual bug where portions of the description for the “Sanctuary of Mooncocoon” Exclusive Effect were unnecessarily underlined while in battle.

This update resolves a bug that caused the enemy ability “Respite By The Waters” to function incorrectly in certain combat situations.

This update resolves a problem where subtitles during cutscene dialogue wouldn’t always appear correctly after specific actions were taken in missions.

■ Gameplay

This update resolves a problem in “Divergent Universe: Protean Hero” where a special ability used by the enemy “The Past, Present, and Eternal Show (Complete)” didn’t work as intended in certain situations.

Hey, so I noticed a bug in Anomaly Arbitration where certain enemy Traits – like Quenching and Unending Refinement, and their upgraded versions – weren’t working right with extra damage. It’s fixed now, so those Traits should actually affect how much bonus damage enemies take, which is awesome!

This update resolves a bug in Anomaly Arbitration where the enemy trait ‘Depowered’ and its upgraded version weren’t working as intended in specific situations. With this fix, abilities that ‘Restore Energy at the start of the turn’ will now work properly.

I was so relieved to see a fix for a bug in the Chrysos Awoo Championship! Sometimes, during those intense chimera showdowns, certain numbers would just disappear, and the showdown wouldn’t finish on its own. It was super frustrating, but now it seems to be working perfectly!

This update resolves a problem in the “Remnants of Twilight” event. Specifically, Kafka’s follow-up attack during the “Synergy Duo” challenge wasn’t always working as intended when certain buffs were active. This has now been fixed.

This update resolves a problem in some game modes where Fu Xuan’s ‘Matrix of Prescience’ skill wasn’t properly protecting allies with the ‘Bloodstained Lupine’ or ‘Hallucinogenic Mermaid’ abilities in certain situations.

This update resolves a problem that caused the enemy Black Tide’s Corroded Axe’s ‘Bitter Fracture’ ability to not work as expected in certain game modes.

■ Environment Visuals

This update resolves a problem that caused the screen to display incorrectly after using certain interactive elements on the Radiant Feldspar map.

■ System

This update corrects a display error in the Data Bank where the enemy named “Decimator, Karma of Daythunder, Eye of Twilight” wasn’t appearing correctly.

This update resolves a problem that caused certain parts of the user interface to appear incorrectly after completing specific actions within the “Interastral Peace Guide”‘s “Trailblaze Experience.”

This update resolves a problem where the “Conventional Memoir” and “Magflow Link” tutorials weren’t unlocking as expected for some players. Once applied, players who’ve earned the requirements for these tutorials will automatically have them unlocked.

Fixes an issue where some music and sound effects perform abnormally under specific conditions.

This update corrects a problem where certain Chinese voice lines played incorrectly during conversations with the Memory Bubble after finishing the Trailblaze Mission “Amphoreus — As Tomorrow Became Yesterday.”

This update corrects a problem where some Japanese voice lines played incorrectly during certain parts of the Trailblaze Mission “Amphoreus — Back to Earth in Evernight”.

Fixes an issue where certain in-game UI elements displayed abnormally.

Fixes an issue where the Achievement “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” could not be completed.

Fixes an issue where certain model displays for the Warp Trotter “Complainer” were aberrant.

As a player, I’m really happy to hear the game text has been polished in 13 different languages! The developers have fixed and improved things, but don’t worry, it won’t change how anything works in the game. If you want to see the changes, you can switch your language in the settings – just go to your phone’s settings, then language, and you’ll see the updated text. It’s a nice touch!

This update includes improvements to the English text only – it doesn’t change how the game plays.

Polishes and improves all kinds of in-game text, including character conversations, item details, mission briefings, helpful tips, historical lore, descriptions of abilities and effects, and text for specific game modes like Currency Wars and As I’ve Written. This also covers general gameplay text.
