Fictions and Game Freak revealed the release date for Beast of Reincarnation at the February 2026 State of Play. Immediately after the presentation, Fictions released a new trailer confirming that the action RPG, developed by Game Freak, will launch worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam) on August 4th.
The game was previously showcased at several Xbox events, including its first reveal at the June 2025 Xbox Games Showcase and again during the January 2026 Xbox Developer Direct. Today, during Sony’s State of Play presentation, the developers also announced the game’s official release date.

GAME FREAK inc. is releasing a new action RPG called Beast of Reincarnation, where you play with a dog companion in a Japan devastated by an apocalypse. It will be available on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC starting August 4, 2026.
