Valve rushes out Deadlock update to fix game-breaking shop bug & speed up ziplines

As a devoted Deadlock player with countless hours spent in the vibrant world of this MOBA hero-shooter, I can’t help but feel like I’m witnessing history unfold before my eyes. Valve’s relentless dedication to refining and improving the game is simply astounding! The September 29 update, much like a swift ninja strike, swooped in to fix that pesky shop exploit that had been causing quite the ruckus among players.

Valve has expedited the release of an update for Deadlock on September 29, aiming to bypass a problem that could disrupt the game’s functionality in the shop and make some essential adjustments.

Since the opening of the early access phase, a rapid succession of deadlock updates has occurred, in a sense. Already, over 200,000 players have dived in, which means developers at Valve are working tirelessly to enhance and perfect the hero-shooter MOBA experience.

Following closely on the heels of the game’s busy September 26 update, which revamped the map, implemented an anti-cheat system, and more, another unexpected update has been released. Valve secretly released a September 29 update featuring four main modifications for the game Deadlock.

Leading the list is an update addressing one of the most glaring issues that has arisen lately. By discovering a store located anywhere on the game map, certain character users were capable of boosting or activating different skills. In extreme instances, this even allowed for self-healing without cost.

Consequently, this situation resulted in significant disparities, yet Valve has not taken firm action. Now, Wraith is unable to accumulate card charges through this glitch, and the lifesteal feature does not activate when attacking stores.

Apart from a crucial bug resolution, Valve also made some fundamental adjustments in their latest update. Initially, the speed of ziplines has been enhanced by 20% for players located at the map’s edges. This modification should undoubtedly make it easier and quicker to rejoin the game after a respawn, as inner ziplines remain unaffected by this change.

After dying in the game for the first time, you used to have to wait 12 seconds before being able to respawn. However, now, this waiting period has been reduced to only 8 seconds.

To clarify, when you’re assuming the role of Mirage and employ their Traveler ability for teleportation, you’ll find that carrying a Soul Urn is no longer an option for you. It’s important to adhere to fair play rules, so avoid any shortcuts related to movement, in order to traverse the map faster than your opponents.
