Valorant Vanguard Has Banned Over 3.6 Million Cheaters In Past 4 Years

As someone who has been deeply immersed in the Valorant community for years now, I can’t help but feel a sense of relief and admiration when I see the relentless efforts Riot Games is putting into maintaining a fair and cheat-free gaming environment. With over 3.6 million accounts banned since its release four years ago, it’s safe to say that Valorant’s anti-cheat system, Vanguard, is not messing around.

According to the most recent report, Riot has revealed that their anti-cheat system, Vanguard, had blocked approximately 3.6 million accounts by August 2024 since Valorant’s launch four years prior. This equates to a ban being imposed roughly every 37 seconds.

Riot clarified that the provided figure excludes various kinds of penalties such as botting, boosting, and playing with hackers. For a visual representation of the total bans issued over time, please refer to the graph displayed below.
