Valorant coach banned from competitive for “worst rizz ever” after DMing dozens of women

In simpler terms, the Valorant coach named Juv3nile was temporarily barred from competitive gameplay for a year following numerous female players disclosing private messages they exchanged with him.

36-year-old Preston ‘Juv3nile’ Dornon has spent years coaching in Valorant, and his latest notable accomplishment is having worked with Leviatán during their VCT 2024 campaign, which almost led them to the Valorant Champions 2024 final.

Consequently, following his recent success, Juvenile has been prohibited from participating in any tournaments authorized by Riot and is no longer coaching at Global Esports, with immediate effect.

Following multiple women calling out his inappropriate DM behavior in public, Riot’s investigation confirmed that he had breached their code of conduct by bombarding numerous young women (aged between late teens and early twenties) with unwanted messages.

Juv3nile suspended from Valorant competitive over DMs

Initially, accusations against Juvenile surfaced following similar allegations against another coach named Fantomas, who reportedly messaged women from a smaller regional league. However, the tournaments where he competes have yet to delve deeper into the matter. Nevertheless, these conversations encouraged more women who had previously been contacted by the former Global Esports coach to come forward and speak out.

Is it like a requirement for coaches to be weird?

Following his tweet, numerous women asserted that they’d received identical direct messages from him, which apparently were copied and pasted. It seems that according to leaked conversations, Juvenile occasionally employed direct messages to respond directly to a tweet, rather than using standard opening lines.

He proposed that we work together (duo) so that he could trick me (gaslight), then fly me in real life (irl) to watch us at a riot arena. In other words, he suggested teaming up with him for a deceptive plan, followed by flying me physically to observe our actions at the Riot Games Arena.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed a pattern in how he starts conversations. He might try to flatter me by calling me his “spoiled travel princess” or offer free coaching. He also likes to brag about living in Seoul right now to attract women to visit him.

In many instances, the DMs displayed typically involve him repeatedly messaging individuals for periods ranging from 3 to 6 months, without any response. Women often find his advances and unexpected offers to fly them around the world without charge off-putting. Numerous such messages are visible in the quote retweets alone; this count doesn’t include people who might not have responded or perhaps didn’t receive a message from him at all.

Riot has determined that this action counts as harassment and violates their code of conduct, leading to a one-year suspension.

Following a thorough review, it has been decided that Juvenile will face a 12-month ban from all Riot-approved esports tournaments, effective as of April 4, 2025. During this period, he will also need to undergo executive training aimed at improving his behavior, respect, and professionalism.

Beneath tweets of women exposing their direct messages, there’s been an outpouring of amusement among fans, using phrases like “he’s got ‘L rizz'” and calling him a “strange fellow.

“WORST RIZZ EVER” said one user.

Another user remarked that it’s extremely manipulative and likely counts as harassment, not cool at all, to approach a stranger and say you plan on stalking her.”

Or more informally:

“A user pointed out that trying to scare a girl you don’t even know by saying you’re going to follow her is definitely sketchy behavior, it’s just harassment.

To clarify, “CNC” stands for “Consensual Non-Consent”, which essentially implies that the individual messaging this person wishes to have complete control during any potential in-person encounters, provided there is mutual agreement.

Juvenile hasn’t made any public comments regarding this verdict, and his Twitter activity has been silent since March 19, the day when women started sharing their private messages.
