Streamer Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter addressed hostile messages on social media following her statement about finding the person responsible for a stream-sniper incident. She vowed not to rest until justice was served.
On March 2nd, Valkyrae, Cinna, and Emiru were hosting their extended streaming event, Sis-A-Thon, from the Santa Monica Pier. Suddenly, a man came over to offer them a performance by singing songs.
After that, he trailed the streamers, eventually reaching them where he challenged them to a fight. However, in the end, the threesome managed to evade him.
Following the event, Valkyrae pledged to track down the individual suspected of the attack, assuring her audience: “Should you possess any details, I would greatly appreciate it. Together, we will locate him, and I’m determined to use every resource available to bring this person to justice.

Upon reading comments on a TopMob tweet concerning the incident, a specific remark stood out to Valkyrae and raised her concerns.
The user warned that he would physically confront Valkyrae if they meet in real life, and advised her not to expect assistance from the authorities.

In a different wording: “When the stalker repeatedly dived into his pockets, it triggered an immediate response in me – I had to flee. From now on, I will always carry a stun gun or pepper spray with me, I won’t make light of my ability to defend myself again, and I will treat such threats as genuine and serious.
When another user made threatening remarks, Valkyrae stated that she had taken screenshots of all their posts.
