In the yearly tradition of the Hall of Legends, the chosen player from League of Legends will be inducted this time around, securing their place in the esports Hall of Fame eternally. As a special honor, they will also receive exclusive skins that are uniquely theirs.
Faker, with his long-standing career and an impressive collection of awards, was an evident initial selection for the Hall of Legends. Following him will undoubtedly be challenging for any future inductee due to the excellence of his performance.
The chosen individual by Riot wasn’t selected primarily due to their number of Worlds championship wins, but rather their extensive career span and exceptional individual prowess – a star like Uzi, the long-reigning ADC prodigy from China.
Get the inside scoop on the 2025 Hall of Legends! Learn some additional details about Uzi, the anticipated skins, their release dates in League of Legends, and much more.
When is the 2025 Hall of Legends event?
According to recent leaks, it appears that Uzi’s Hall of Legends in-game event is scheduled for update 25.12, which falls on June 11. The duration of the event and the timeframe within which players can collect in-game items have not been specified as of now.
On June 6th, Uzi’s induction ceremony is scheduled, officially confirming his place in the history books of League of Legends and ensuring his name will be remembered forever.
Who is Uzi?
Uzi, without a doubt, is among the most exceptional marksmen (ADC) players ever. Despite not having won a World Championship, he’s the second player to be inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Fame, demonstrating his extraordinary skill level during his peak years.
In 2013, he made his debut in the world final and was subsequently hailed as the top ADC in China for several years. He came agonizingly close to winning it all in 2014, but fate had Faker’s T1 team standing in his way. However, those setbacks did not deter him from attaining greatness instead.
The strongest team assembled by RNG largely stemmed from their previous achievements, and their victorious 2018 MSI title with the organization served as a powerful testament, demonstrating that China could compete head-on with South Korea in global esports competitions.

Uzi temporarily stepped away from professional gaming due to multiple health concerns, reappeared for some games in the 2022 BLG, then resumed his free agency status again. Later, he spent a full season playing with EDG before making the decision to retire permanently this time.
He’s a skilled ADC player, particularly proficient with mobile champions such as Vayne and Ezreal. He tends to choose champions that require advanced mechanics and can single-handedly win games, often outmaneuvering his opponents. If Uzi were on a team, it was expected that everyone else would focus on keeping him alive and providing the resources he needs to carry the game.
Which skins will Uzi get for the Hall of Legends?
As I type this, Riot Games hasn’t publicly announced which skins will be featured in this event. Nonetheless, based on leaks, it appears that we can anticipate skins for two specific champions.
The first pick is a little obvious: Vayne.
Vayne is the champion that Uzi often plays, and she was selected to represent him in the Worlds 2018 trailer. In general, Uzi doesn’t usually play ADCs without some form of mobility or high potential for outplay. This perfectly encapsulates what Vayne stands for – getting into teamfights, dodging enemy attacks, and cutting through whatever obstacles are in her path.
The second pick is a bit more modern: Kai’Sa.
Kai’Sa significantly shaped Uzi’s later gaming period, even though he wasn’t as legendary as before. This could be due to Kai’Sa excelling at many of Vayne’s roles, often surpassing her in performance. Moreover, she is one of the most beloved ADC (Attack Damage Carry) champions in the game, making her an excellent choice when promoting new skins.
Based on recent rumors, it appears Vayne is likely to be the side character and Kai’Sa will take center stage, similar to how LeBlanc served as a side skin in Faker’s Hall of Legends bundle compared to Ahri who came with additional items.
Regarding the pricing, it’s yet uncertain if League of Legends will reduce the price for the skin bundles this time compared to when Faker’s Hall of Legends induction skin bundle cost over $400. The high price was so steep that LoL introduced a new feature allowing players to purchase $400 worth of RP (Riot Points) in one transaction.
