Aquaplus will be hosting two live streams on Saturday, November 22nd, focusing on the Utawarerumono series. One of these streams will be all about the newest game, Utawarerumono: Shiro he no Michishirube.
The first stream will be about the game, starting at 3:00 PM Japan Standard Time (6:00 AM GMT). It will include appearances by the Japanese voice actors who play major characters: Kentaro Tone (as Oshtor), Yuko Minaguchi (as Shunya), and Yuya Uchida (as Mikazuchi).
I’m really hoping this upcoming stream gives us some concrete info on the new game! We still have no idea what systems it’s even coming out on, and it’s frustrating that they pushed the release date back from Fall 2025 all the way to 2026. I’ve heard the reason for the delay might be because Aquaplus handed development over to Yuke’s, which probably set things back a bit.
Just so you know, we’ll also be streaming Utawarerumono: Lost Frag at 5:00 PM JST (8:00 AM GMT) on the same day. This stream celebrates the game’s 6th anniversary! Along with Kentaro Tone and Yuya Uchida, we’ll have Kazuya Nakai, the voice of Akuta, and Ryoka Yuzuki, the voice of Eruruu, joining us.
