As a movie connoisseur with a soft spot for suspenseful thrillers and a knack for spotting emerging talent, I find myself intrigued by the upcoming horror-thriller “Push.” The film’s premise, revolving around a pregnant realtor battling against time to escape a sadistic killer, promises an edge-of-the-seat experience.

The American Sales Team of UTA Independent Film Group has taken on the distribution rights for the horror-thriller movie titled “Push.” Starring Alicia Sanz and Raúl Castillo, this film is set to make its first public appearance at the Sitges Film Festival, marking a global debut.

Sanz has been recognized for his work on “Simulant” and “El Cid.” Meanwhile, Castillo’s portfolio boasts “The Inspection” and “Army of the Dead.

David Charbonier and Justin Powell are responsible for writing, directing, and producing the film titled ‘Push,’ which they have also worked on previously in projects such as ‘The Boy Behind the Door’ and ‘The Djinn.’

The movie narrates the story of Natalie Flores (Sanz), a realtor who is heavily pregnant, and finds herself under attack by a ruthless murderer (Castillo) during an open house showing. This vicious assault triggers her premature labor. Struggling against the relentless biological time limit, Natalie has to figure out how to flee before she delivers her baby.

The movie was made under the supervision of Ryan Scaringe, known for “Eradication” and “Detained”, along with executive producers Amy Lippens and Jilbert Daniel. Furthermore, Sanz and Castillo are also listed as executive producers in this production.

The production companies are Kinogo Pictures and Mad Descent.

Castle is managed by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), JWS Entertainment, Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.

Sanz is represented by Range Media and Brecheen Feldman Breimer Silver Thompson.

Charbonier and Powell are represented by UTA, Anonymous Content and Marios Rush.

The town of Sitges, famously recognized as the International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, boasts itself as the top fantasy film festival globally. This event takes place from October 3rd to the 13th.

To kick off, we have Steven Soderbergh’s “Presence,” a chilling narrative about a family who shifts into a suburban dwelling and begins to feel they’re not the only inhabitants. As our festival concludes, we present Alexandre Aja’s “Never Let Go,” a spine-tingling horror set in a secluded forest cabin, starring the talented Halle Berry.
