Not everybody hates the update

Although there’s been a lot of criticism about the new update on social media, plenty of people have expressed their affection for it and all the fresh features that Discord incorporated in the revamp.

“Honestly, from the way I’m looking at it. It ain’t that half bad,” one user commented.

A different person expressed in a message: “I’m really enjoying the fresh look of Discord’s updated user interface. However, I find one issue – there seems to be excessive empty space where the server list could have been placed more effectively. Apart from that, it’s looking great!

It’s not the first instance that Discord has faced criticism due to changes in its user interface. A significant mobile update in 2023 led some users to even cancel their Nitro subscriptions in response.

Since that time, Discord has consistently been enhancing and refining the design and functionality of its mobile app, taking user feedback into account. It’s reasonable to anticipate similar improvements being made to the desktop app over the next few weeks.
