Riot Games are gradually hinting at the unveiling of Valorant’s new character, Agent 28. The grand reveal is scheduled for March. Let’s take a look at what we currently understand.
Initially, when Valorant was launched in 2020, combatants had a selection of 10 agents for engagement on the planet Future Earth. However, over time, this number has significantly increased. Now, players can pick from a total of 27 different agents.
Tejo joined the group most recently, and he’s swiftly made an impact on the shooter community. This is largely due to his powerful Guided Salvo skill and Armageddon ultimate.
In update 10.00, the Colombian agent made its debut, but unlike Riot’s usual practice of taking a short break between releases, they have already begun hinting at Agent 28. The grand unveiling is imminent.
Agent 28 teaser in Dawn of the Duelist
In the Dawn of the Duelist cinematic for Masters Bangkok, the latest agent was playfully referred to, with Tejo apparently sending messages to them on screen.
His message says, “This team shows promise, but they’re not like you. Hold tight,” as Phoenix, Brim, Vyse, Raze, and themselves appear to be traveling towards Thailand.
Apart from a visible hand of the new agent during the exchange of Tejo’s message, there were also faint silhouettes of them drifting through the brief cinematographic sequence.

Additionally, some spectators interpret a mirroring in Raze’s eyes as hinting at his possible powers, since there’s also a glance at a crystalline tunnel whose hues echo this reflection.
When Tejo hits ‘send’ and we observe A28 receiving his message, it seems as though the communication travels through a shimmering crystal passageway, reminiscent of the hues we’ve grown accustomed to with the new agent. I can’t help but ponder if this is a subtle reference to one of their powers.

Agent 28 full reveal date
From my perspective as an ardent fan, there’s no solid info disclosed or sneak-peek hinted about their potential abilities so far. Some fans speculate they might be a Duelist, considering they show up in the Dawn of the Duelist video, but it’s all speculation at this point.
