Following Caradoc’s aid in leaving the asylum on the island in “Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon“, players will encounter a shipwreck on the southern beach. As they regain their footing and embark on exploration, one of the initial intriguing spots they may accidentally discover is the All-Mother’s Shrine, an old stone structure dedicated to the deity.

In this location, you’ll encounter two distressed villagers and a corpse bearing a letter. Attend to the villagers first, then read the message hidden in the letter. This will guide you on how to offer something at the All-Mother’s Shrine to receive an amulet as a prize in return.

How to Get Rose, Sage, and Feather for All-Mother’s Shrine Offering

According to the instructions given in the Letter to Aleous, players must gather specific items to win the potent amulet from the All-Mother’s Shrine. Here’s how you can acquire these items:

1. A Rose
2. Some Sage (herbs)
3. A Feather

How to Get Rose

Rose bushes are where you’ll find roses. Here are the verified spots for these rose bushes, which are depicted in the images provided. Each of these locations is clearly highlighted in the pictures displayed above.

  1. Behind the Red Priest merchant, in the Shadow of the Horns Keep.
  2. Right next to Abigor and the One-Handed Skill statue, growing underneath the stone arch.
  3. Northeast of Shadows of the Horns, west of the Ruined Market Square
  4. On the outerside of the Shadows of the Horns Keep, by the walls.

How to Get Sage

Sage plants are frequently discovered tucked away in various receptacles such as boxes, bags, or trunks, yet they can also thrive naturally in open, bushy clusters outdoors. A distinctive feature that sets sage apart is its purple, fluffy spike.

  1. Northwest of All-Mother’s Shrine, on the side of the road.
  2. Northeast of All-Mother’s Shrine.
  3. East of Shadows of the Horns Keep, near the rose bushes.

How to Get Feather

You can gather Feathers as loot from slain bandits in most cases. If an NPC who wears light armor is hostile towards you, they will often drop some Feathers upon being defeated. Additionally, players have the option to purchase Feathers from Osbryht, the Blacksmith at Shadow of the Horns Keep for 16 gold pieces.

Osbryht also sells Wood.

All-Mother’s Shrine Reward

Once you’ve collected all three essential items, make your way to the All-Mother’s Shrine. When a prompt appears, simply click or press the ‘interact’ key. This action will instantly award you the All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet, functioning as a one-time revival item. If you should sustain lethal damage while wearing this amulet, you’ll be restored to full health, but the amulet itself will be shattered. Remember that only your life force is replenished; neither mana nor stamina are affected in this process.
