How to Find Lunchboxes in Atomfall

As I roam through the mystical woods of Casterfell in Atomfall, I stumbled upon an intriguing secret: lunchboxes are buried deep beneath the earth! However, blindly digging holes across the landscape won’t yield any results. That’s where the Metal Detector comes in handy – a vital tool that helps me track down these hidden treasures. Luckily, there are two spots where I can snag one of these devices, making my quest for lunchboxes much more manageable!

You have two options for getting a Metal Detector: one is to purchase it from Molly, who’s located on the western part of Slatten Dale, and the other is to find one on a deceased person in the eastern district. Once you get hold of this device, look for its icon when you’re near a lunchbox or cache. Use the tool to scan until the meter hits 10, then press the designated key to reveal the hidden item buried beneath the ground.

John Steel: One False Step The Interchange N/A This one is directly under the Central Processor, so players will need to go down to ground level from the Medical side of The Interchange. Head to the center, towards Oberon’s entrance, then veer towards the Robotics side and grab the lunchbox from the train carriage blocking the way.
John Steel: Special Agent – The Enemy Within The Interchange N/A This one is tucked in a narrow alley alongside the entrance to Robotics (from the ground floor, where the B.A.R.D. robots are patrolling). From the entrance to Robotics, take a left, then left again and continue until you reach the wall.

How To Get the Interchange Lunchboxes

Specific Lunchboxes prove harder to locate within the game, as they lack specific coordinates for reference, and instead demand a more substantial advancement of the storyline compared to others. These elusive items necessitate players to discover multiple access points to The Interchange, effectively expanding the facility for exploration once unlocked.

The initial Lunchbox is situated just beneath the Central Processor. To access it, players must initially activate an Atomic Battery and then unlock the Medical ward within The Interchange. After completing these tasks, head down the staircase to the lower level and move towards the lunchbox. You’ll discover the bridge leading to Oberon and the Robotics wing; proceed along the Robotics section until you reach a train car. That’s where you’ll find the lunchbox.

This version tries to maintain the original structure while using simpler language and making it easier for the reader to understand the steps involved.

In the second instance, the Lunchbox is at the same spot but it’s accessible from the Robotics section instead. When you’re on ground level, be careful to dodge the B.A.R.D. robots and sentry guns patrolling the area, then proceed towards the double yellow doors leading into Robotics. However, before you get there, make a right turn first, followed quickly by a left, and keep walking along this narrow passage until it ends. At the dead end, you’ll find the Lunchbox waiting for you.
