In the ever-evolving tactical collectible game Girls Frontline 2, fresh characters are regularly introduced, significantly altering the existing game dynamics or metagame.
Although numerous players are pulling on the existing Klukai banner, it’s worth noting that 14 new characters are still awaiting their release on the global server.
Surely, deciding which Collapse Pieces and Targeted Access Permissions to hold onto among your valuable assets might prove challenging. This becomes even more difficult when the future units are unfamiliar.
Luckily, our useful resource center provides comprehensive information on every character set to appear in the next season of GFL2. It also highlights those you might want to keep an eye on.
Andoris
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Bulwark
- Damage: Electric
As a devoted fan, I’d say Andoris is my go-to Electric unit! It can deploy two patrol Turrets that electrify surrounding foes. The strikes on enemies not only deal Electric damage but also prompt action support hits, allowing my team to join in with additional attacks synchronously with the turret.
Instead of just being thrilling due to their summonability, Andoris additionally boosts her team’s defensive strength by bestowing three turns each of Cover and Positive Charge, which are stacked on all friendly humanoid units.
As a gamer, I’ve got this character named Andoris. Whenever her allies with Positive Charge get hit, she shares an astounding 45% of the raw damage they take with them. Plus, when I attack enemies with Negative Charge, Andoris heals herself by restoring a whopping 20% of her max HP. This makes her and her team incredibly durable in battle!
Belka
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Vanguard
- Damage: Electric
Character named Belka is an SSR Electric type, and she inflicts greater damage when there’s a Negative Charge present in the battlefield. Her strength really shines against boss opponents, as her damage output boosts by 15% when the bosses are under Negative Charge.
Applying the Negative Charge debuff is effortlessly achievable due to Belka’s passive ability, Secret Forest Stash. This empowers players to apply the debuff to the closest opponent prior to Belka launching an attack.
When you combine this with Andoris’ Electrical debuff, your team will consistently benefit from the increased damage.
Faye
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Vanguard
- Damage: Unknown
In the Chinese server of GFL2, Faye has recently joined as one of the new Vanguard characters, with her banner going live on December 12. At present, specifics about her abilities remain scarce; however, it’s clear that she is proficient in using a handgun and employs an axe for both close-quarter and mid-range attacks. We will provide more details as soon as they become available.
Jiangyu
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Sentinel
- Damage: Electric
Jiangyu is another character from SSR Electric class who excels when enemies are affected by Electric debuffs. She complements Andoris and Belka particularly well in this regard. When Masterful Thunderstrike kills an enemy, she will inflict 30% of her attack power onto all other enemies situated within a radius of two tiles from her initial target.
In addition to striking with precision, she also eliminates two positive effects on her opponent, and boosts her own damage output by 10% for every effect she removes successfully.
Lenna
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Support
- Damage: Electric
Lenna serves as a Support character, equipped with an Area-of-Effect Submachine Gun that discharges Electric damage. In addition, she can set up Voltage terrain on the battlefield and becomes invisible when her Concealment Level exceeds three.
As a gamer, I’ve got to keep an eye on Lenna’s Confectance Index, making sure it stays above three. This not only boosts her Active Skill – Leaping Pursuit but also gives her an edge in Electric teams. Plus, she’s immune to debuffs from Voltage tiles, which is a real game-changer!
Leva
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Sentinel
- Damage: Electric
Leva, a character from the Electric Sentinel class, specializes in dealing Area of Effect (AoE) damage to surrounding foes with her Submachine Gun (SMG). When paired with Lenna, their abilities synergize effectively. By placing Voltage tiles on the battlefield using their unique skills, they significantly boost your attack power.
In this AoE scenario, not only does the electric damage ignite, but it also allows for swift destruction of multiple foes, making Leva an exceptionally powerful force in PvE combat.
Mechty
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Support
- Damage: Corrosion
Mechty, another character from the SSR roster, is particularly suited to the duo of Peritya and Klukai. Her area-of-effect skill, which causes corrosive damage, deals 130% of her attack power and creates a toxic field that harms enemies subsequently.
Her Dream Guardian and Nightmare Shield abilities boost the durability of her teammates, enabling them to continue launching relentless attacks using the lethal pairing of Peritya/Klukai.
Nikketa
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Sentinel
- Damage: Hydro
Similar to Papasha, Nikketa possesses a summons-able ally. By activating her skill, players can choose an open space within a nine-tile vicinity and materialize Kulich, the robotic canine companion. Kulich’s special trait is a passive ability that lowers the attacking power of nearby enemy units by 10%, affecting those within five tiles.
Having an additional player on the field with high durability and special abilities is extremely beneficial, particularly during tough battles like boss fights. And to make things even better, Nikketa can secure an extra turn after deploying her Cold Condemnation move.
Peri
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Bulwark
- Damage: Burn
In Girls’ Frontline 2, Peri has just been introduced as a new character. Standing small but mighty, she belongs to the Bulwark class and is particularly feared due to her formidable basic attacks.
As per Ceia’s translations, Peri uses her own health points (HP) to launch numerous basic assaults. Additionally, she has the ability to create a protective barrier for herself, which aids in mitigating the health loss caused by her Active skill and enhances her survivability.
As a seasoned gamer, I’m still trying to figure out where this newcomer fits in our team strategy, as her character is quite fresh. However, given her strengths, I can see her excelling within fire or “burn” teams, contributing significantly to our gameplay.
Qiuhua
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Vanguard
- Damage: Burn
In any Burn team setup, Qiuhau is indispensable due to her unique skills. Although she operates best in close quarters, Qiuhau’s reach extends significantly with her Sky Leap ability, allowing her to strike opponents as far as six tiles away when activated. This agile Vanguard propels herself into the air to deliver powerful blows.
Following the assault, Qiuhau acquires an extra command ability and shortens the recharge time of her ultimate. Her ultimate unleashes a large area-of-effect attack that inflicts Burn and leaves behind a Scorch Mark, dealing extra damage over time.
Springfield
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Support
- Damage: Hydro
Springfield has swiftly climbed to the highest tier in CN Girls’ Frontline 2 rankings for her outstanding healing abilities. Not only does her ultimate ability unleash Area-of-Effect Hydro damage on all enemies within a radius of nine tiles, but it also restores health for allies, grants two Confection Index points, eliminates one debuff, and removes Taunt and Evade debuffs from them as well.
The Sniper class, capable of delivering healing at long distances via her robotic falcon and inflicting Hydro damage, is incredibly potent. Therefore, remember to save up for Springfield.
Vector
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Support
- Damage: Burn
Character named Vector specializes in unleashing widespread Area of Effect (AoE) Burn attacks and detrimental effects, turning the battlefield into a sea of fiery embers. Similar to Sharky, after utilizing her Ultimate ability, Vector acquires an additional command, enabling her to execute two actions effectively, thereby setting up highly destructive tactics.
She inflicts even greater harm on her opponents when they’re already affected by Burn debuffs, which makes her an excellent choice for any fire-focused team compositions.
Yoohee
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Support
- Damage: Physical
Character named Yoohee functions as a supportive idol, enhancing her teammates’ offensive capabilities by boosting their damage output for approximately two rounds. Her ultimate move becomes particularly valuable in challenging boss battles, where additional firepower could tip the scales and significantly impact your final score.
Yoohee’s Area of Effect (AoE) enhancements also get rid of negative effects on enemies such as Taunt, Evasion, Stun, and Induction. This gives her exceptional versatility since she can boost your primary damage dealers and neutralize any bothersome enemy crowd control abilities.
Zhaohui
- Rarity: SSR
- Class: Vanguard
- Damage: Hydro
As a Hydro Vanguard gamer, I wield a formidable combo of SMG firepower coupled with lethal whip strikes. My trusty whip extends an impressive four-tile radius, slicing through any foes in its path, and dealing massive physical damage.
In simpler terms, Zhaohui’s Ultimate Ability, called Azure Leap, functions like a teleport. It lets her quickly move towards any Homing Arrows within a range of nine tiles. Upon arrival, she damages the nearest enemy and afflicts them with Stasis. This skill can be used strategically to either attack a high-priority target swiftly or evade fatal damage by escaping.
In summary, these are all the new characters you’ll find in Girls’ Frontline 2. For additional information about the game, such as codes to redeem and optimal builds for Klukai and Dushevnaya, be sure to explore further!
