Unlock Keraunios’ Ultimate God Roll for PvE & PvP Dominance in Destiny 2!

The much-anticipated yearly Guardian Games event from Destiny 2 resumed at the Tower on March 11, bringing along fresh and familiar prizes, such as an innovative Arc Trace Rifle that could challenge Coldheart’s dominance.

Interestingly, Keraunios follows Iron Banner’s Warlord’s Spear as the second Arc Trace Rifle to appear in Episode Heresy. However, it’s Keraunios that has a more advantageous set of perks.

Indeed, when used correctly, Keraunios can effectively emulate Coldheart’s escalating damage. While Coldheart takes the lead in pure single-target destruction, Keraunios isn’t too far behind and excels notably in clearing additional targets.

For your convenience, we’ve tested and identified what we believe are the top-tier rolls for both Player versus Environment (PvE) and Player versus Player (PvP) scenarios. Enjoy!

Keraunios PvE & PvP god rolls – Meta analysis

If a weapon has a slower-than-average reload time or poor ammunition efficiency, the perk known as “Overflow” is truly exceptional. After testing out “Eddy Current” and “Recycled Energy” for the initial perk slot in PvE, the automatic reloads and enlarged magazine size offered by Overflow are simply too beneficial on Trace Rifles to pass up.

As a fan, I’d say for the second perk, I find myself leaning towards either the Detonating Beam or Jolting Feedback as exceptional choices for clearing add-ons. If your build is all about maximizing Arc synergy, then you might want to go for Jolting Feedback. But if you’re looking at a more versatile performance, the Detonating Beam tends to shine brighter in general use.

When considering Keraunios, it’s important to note that its potential builds lean more towards PvE. However, don’t underestimate the value of a Dynamic Sway Reduction or Closing Time/Killing Wind roll for PvP. Trace Rifles in Crucible have an issue with excessive ammo consumption, but if you’re prepared to manage this disadvantage, this is one of the stronger choices available.
