Starting soon, the open beta phase for Steel Hunters, developed by the creators of World of Tanks (Wargaming), will begin! Top performers in this mech battle arena stand to receive some exciting incentives.
The open beta period is set for February 20th through 24th, during which we’ll be operating the most recent version of the game. This edition includes a thrilling third-person mech shooting experience along with a unique mix of Player versus Player versus Environment (PvPvE) combat styles.
Steel Hunters adopts a free-to-play structure where players progressively enhance and level up their selected robotic mechs. In each game, two-player duos engage in competition, with six squads vying to either eliminate opponents or secure and hold an extraction zone until the time limit expires.

Steel Hunters PC open beta: Access dates and how to join
You can participate in the four-day beta test, which is being offered on both Steam and Wargaming’s own Game Center platform. During Steam Publisher Weekend, you can join the beta by visiting the game’s Steam page or using the mentioned Game Center.
Since pre-downloads aren’t accessible, it’s advisable to log in early to download the game as soon as possible, thus giving yourself more time to play it.
Steel Hunters open beta rewards
Simultaneously with the open beta, there’s the Clutch Performance event happening, offering rewards to those demonstrating exceptional skills. The top 10 performers each day will be rewarded with Steam gift cards, along with unique and unspecified physical goods related to the game.
Furthermore, each player gets a chance to fight for an exclusive Trenchwalker costume, a perk that will remain with them when the complete version of the game launches.
