In the game Honkai: Star Rail, Aglaea is the inaugural 5-star character marked as Remembrance. This character primarily deals damage and excels in battling numerous opponents. However, due to her built-in Speed (SPD) and action progression mechanics, she’s also quite capable against individual targets. Nevertheless, for her to start dishing out high damage numbers, she’ll require a well-crafted setup or build.
Constructing Aglaea is quite similar to other characters within the HSR ensemble. She’s a straightforward figure with a comparatively uncomplicated set of abilities, making her an easy-to-handle combatant as well. If you’re seeking advice on how best to equip Aglaea, here are our suggestions for her Relics, Light Cones, and stat distributions.
Best Aglaea Build in HSR
Aglaea is a character from Remembrance who conjures up Garmentmaker, a smart mannequin capable of wielding a sword equally skillfully as its user. The duo, Aglaea and Garmentmaker, strike with the swiftness and force of lightning, making them incredibly formidable.
As of now, there aren’t numerous choices for Remembrance characters regarding gear sets and Light Cones, yet the available ones function exceptionally effectively with Aglaea. Essentially, equip her similarly to how you would any other damage dealer character.
Relics and Stats
Ideal Aglaea Relics | ||
---|---|---|
Relic Set | Effect | |
Hero of Triumphant Song | Increases ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s Memosprite is on the field, increase the wearer’s SPD by 6%. When the Memosprite attacks, increases the wearer and Memosprite’s CRIT DMG by 30% for 2 turns. | |
Wondrous BananAmusement Park | Increase the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 16%. When a target summoned by the wearer is on the field, CRIT DMG increases by an additional 32%. |
Currently, the most effective Relic and Planar Ornament sets for Aglaea are the “Hero of Triumphant Melody” and the “Wondrous BananAmusement Park.” These sets are ideal for characters who can summon units, making their use a logical choice.
[Alternative method provided below]
- 2PC/2PC combo of any Relic set that gives +ATK% or Lightning DMG
- Rutilant Arena
- Frontline Firmament: Glamoth
In the game HSR, think about creating artifacts called Relics by utilizing enchanted material known as Wishful Resin. This process ensures that an item will possess at least two preferred additional properties or stats.
Rutilant Arena and Glamoth Ornaments won’t influence Garmentkeeper, but they will boost Aglaea’s personal damage output, which is particularly beneficial when she’s in her Ultimate form. Moreover, BananAmusement Park’s 32% CRIT DMG bonus doesn’t impact Memosprites. Despite this, Memosprites will remain Aglaea’s best ornament set for her. However, make sure to maintain a sufficient Critical Rate to maximize the benefit from it.
As for stats, try your best to reach or come close to the following breakpoints:
- ATK: ~2000 (without buffs)
- CRIT Rate/DMG: 80/160
- SPD: 160
- Energy Regen: 119.4%
To optimize Aglaea effectively, it would be more advantageous to equip an Energy Regeneration artifact onto one of her Planar Ornaments rather than an Attack percentage or Lightning damage one, particularly if you lack the Sunday artifact. This setup helps maintain a steady energy supply for Aglaea’s Ultimate ability without relying on cooldown reduction or specific team compositions.
Similar to many characters, Aglaea’s optimal Light Cone is her unique one, referred to as “Time Woven Into Gold“. This ability passively grants her a 12% bonus in Speed, and it causes both Aglaea and Garmentmaker to accumulate Brocade stacks each time they attack. Each stack of Brocade boosts Aglaea and Garmentmaker’s Critical Damage and Basic Attack Damage by 9% at their first skill level (S1), increasing up to 15% per stack at their fifth skill level (S5). The maximum number of Brocade stacks is six.
Alternative options include:
- Sweat Now, Cry Less: Gain 12% CRIT Rate and deal 24% more DMG while the user’s Memosprite is on the field (S1).
- Genius’ Greeting: Gain 16% bonus ATK. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, increase the wearer’s and their Memosprite’s Basic ATK DMG by 20% (S1).
Due to a scarcity of Light Cones suitable for Remembrance units, Sweat Now, Cry Less is currently the optimal 4-star choice for Aglaea, boasting CRIT and damage advantages. However, it can exclusively be acquired through the battle pass.
Traces
Level up Aglaea’s abilities in the following order:
- Thorned Nectar (Basic ATK)
- Body Brewed By Tears (Garmentmaker Talent)
- Dance, Destined Weaveress (Ultimate)
- Thorned Snare (Garmentmaker Skill)
- Rosy-Fingered (Talent)
- Rise, Exalted Renown (Skill)
Most of Aglaea’s power lies in her basic attack, particularly when it’s boosted, her ultimate ability, and the attacks from her Garmentmaker form. Once you’ve improved her key abilities, focus on unlocking the remaining major and minor traces for her.
