The way the Marvel Cinematic Universe is structured, and how it focuses on a specific hero, makes it difficult to pit that hero against Doctor Doom unless the story is prepared to permanently remove the hero – perhaps in a future film like ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. Throughout the MCU so far, we’ve seen many exciting and powerful heroes and villains, each with their own unique abilities.
It’s clear that some Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes are much stronger than others. When heroes are too powerful, it can be hard to create exciting and believable conflicts for audiences. Because of this, it would be best for the MCU to avoid a direct fight between its most powerful hero and Doctor Doom.
One Lone MCU Scene Means It’d Raise Way Too Many Questions To Have One Hero Face Off Against Doctor Doom In Avengers: Doomsday
As a huge movie fan, I’m so hyped for Avengers: Doomsday! Everyone’s talking about who’ll go toe-to-toe with Doctor Doom – and names like Thor, Sentry, and the Hulk keep coming up as likely contenders. But you know, I think the hero best positioned to actually beat Doom isn’t necessarily the strongest, but the one who’s the most self-aware – someone who understands Doom and can exploit his weaknesses.
The finale of She-Hulk features the MCU’s most self-aware hero – even more so than Deadpool in his films – using her abilities to break the fourth wall. This leads her to a surprising confrontation with K.E.V.I.N., a robotic representation of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
She-Hulk doesn’t just talk about the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the AI, K.E.V.I.N.; she can actually influence the story itself. She even convinces K.E.V.I.N. to rewrite the show’s ending, effectively changing reality and the past.
Considering everything, a fight between She-Hulk and Doctor Doom in an Avengers: Doomsday-type event feels unrealistic for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It would inevitably lead fans to wonder why She-Hulk couldn’t defeat other powerful villains in the same way. Even if an explanation were offered, it probably wouldn’t fully satisfy everyone’s questions.
Why She-Hulk Would Still Make Sense As Part Of The Cast Of Avengers: Doomsday & Avengers: Secret Wars
Okay, so just because She-Hulk and Doctor Doom have a tricky dynamic doesn’t mean we should rule her out of future Avengers movies! I honestly think there are plenty of good reasons why Marvel should keep her involved – it would be awesome to see what they do with her in the next Avengers films.
Jennifer Walters, with her incredible strength and understanding of reality, could be a major asset to the next Avengers films. Fans would love to see her in action, and her unique perspective could offer valuable insights into the MCU’s multiverse. Plus, her story could naturally connect with and expand upon the existing Hulk narrative.
It would make sense to include She-Hulk in future Avengers movies, even if she doesn’t directly battle Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. This approach could be crucial for establishing the MCU’s new heroes and shaping the future of the franchise, starting with what comes after a potential Avengers: Doomsday film.
