TV Asahi announced that a special concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of Undertale will be held in cities across Japan this April and May. The tour will conclude with a final performance in Tokyo on May 29th.
Last June, we announced a series of anniversary concerts starting in Osaka in September, with shows in Tokyo and Yokohama following in October. Since then, the concerts have expanded to include Sendai in December and Fukuoka in January. The organizers are now planning a special Valentine’s Day program in Tokyo on February 14th, with additional concerts scheduled for Hiroshima on February 23rd and Hokkaido on March 14th.
Besides the Valentine’s concert series, our regular concerts usually present two different programs, each with its own unique song list. The recently announced Finale concerts will be special because they’ll feature two entirely separate set lists. Kota Kawai, the leader of the Music Engine orchestra, specifically mentioned in a press release that Program C, which will be performed during the Finale concerts’ daytime shows, will not include the songs “Megalovania,” “Power of Neo,” or “Battle Against A True Hero.”
The venues and schedule for the upcoming Undertale 10th Anniversary Concert Finale is as follows:
- April 5: Chiba Prefecture Cultural Hall
- May 2: Shizuoka – Mishima City Cultural Hall
- May 4-5: NHK Osaka Hall
- May 24: Aichi – Toyota City Cultural Hall
- May 29: Tokyo – SGC Hall Ariake
