Uncovering the Secrets: Every Amphoreus Character Leak in Honkai: Star Rail!

As the third season of Honkai: Star Rail unfolds, there are still some unresolved plot points in Amphoreus that HoYoverse is yet to wrap up. Besides introducing new characters, hints from influential members within the Honkai: Star Rail community imply that more content for Amphoreus will be added down the line. So far, only three playable characters have been fully unveiled and given release dates, while four of the Chrysos Heirs remain unknown.

Among the twelve Chrysos Heirs, only Aglaea, Mydei, and Tribbie have been fully unveiled so far. Aglaea made her debut in Version 3.0, while Mydei and Tribbie have been officially confirmed for Version 3.1. Although all the Chrysos Heirs are expected to be playable characters, Castorice was initially introduced as an NPC (Non-Player Character) in Version 3.0. However, her status has since been updated to an upcoming playable character. Despite this, players currently have more details about some Amphoreus characters beyond these four, compared to others.

Known Chrysos Heirs

Anaxa

In the exciting world of Honkai: Star Rail, Anaxa is now confirmed as an upcoming character, with fans predicting his debut in Version 3.2. Meanwhile, Castorice is anticipated to transition from an NPC to a playable character in this same update, continuing the tradition of two Amphoreus characters per version, which began with Mydei and Tribbie in Version 3.1. Previously thought to be a 5-Star Ice character on the Path of Nihility, Anaxagoras the Foolish has now been unveiled as a 5-star Wind character on the Path of Erudition. Given his scholarly background, this learning-focused path aligns perfectly with him.

Hyacine

Hyacine is one of four other characters from Chrysos who were highlighted in the opening trailer of “Honkai: Star Rail,” specifically in “Amphoreus’ Tale of Heroes.” So far, Honkverse has kept quiet about her specific details, but a well-known leaker called Uncle Hellgirl claims that Hyacine will tread the Path of Remembrance. This choice is intriguing because the leaker further suggests that she will be assigned as a healer, a role usually given to characters on the Path of Abundance in “Honkai: Star Rail.

Cipher & Phainon

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve been keeping tabs on the latest leaks for Cipher and Phainon, the two characters yet to be fully discussed from the original Golden Epic trailer. From what I gather, Cipher, also known as Cifera the Swift, is rumored to join Star Rail’s DPS roster. It seems her abilities primarily enhance her own damage output, although one leak suggests that Cipher may not focus on Damage Over Time (DoT) skills. Instead, these capabilities might be attributed to another Chrysos Heir. As for Phainon, details are scarce, but it’s said he’ll be a Physical Destruction character, capable of performing multiple actions during a single turn.

Unannounced and Unexpected Amphoreus Characters

In the first trailer for the Golden Epic, it was four Chrysos Heirs who were hidden in shadow. Luckily for Honkai: Star Rail gamers, it appears that information about two of these characters has been accidentally revealed.

Hysilens

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the potential character in Genshin Impact known as Hysilens, who seems to be the female Chrysos Heir depicted rising from the sea in the Golden Epic trailer. Sketches of her complete design have been leaked on platforms like Reddit, although some players have voiced doubts about their authenticity. Many have drawn parallels between this supposed design and Seele.

What makes Hysilens particularly intriguing is that she’s rumored to be more focused on Damage Over Time (DoT), incorporating aspects that were previously speculated for Cipher’s kit.

Oronyx

In a recent disclosure, the well-known figure Seele Leaks unveiled another previously undisclosed character from Amphoreous, claiming that this new character goes by “Oronyx, Veil of Evernight.” If accurate, Oronyx is said to possess the power of Time’s Coreflame and shares a resemblance with March 7th. This revelation may provide further insights into the enigmatic past of March 7th, as players have been eagerly speculating that Oronyx might be a darker counterpart of March 7th.

Cyrene

In summary, details regarding one of Amphoreus’s significant characters, Cyrene, have gradually come to light. The Golden Epic trailer clearly differentiated Cyrene from the Chrysos Heirs, causing many players to speculate that she would be a non-playable character (NPC). However, recent leaks hint that Cyrene might not be an NPC but rather the sole 5-star character in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7, set for release around December. Additionally, these leaks suggest that she will belong to the Ice type on the Path of Remembrance. This shift in expectations about the character is significant, but it makes sense given the resemblance fans have drawn between Cyrene and Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd.

Given that Cyrene might not appear until version 3.7, it’s quite probable she will be the final Amphoreus character to join. However, there are numerous other characters scheduled to debut in Honkai: Star Rail throughout the year of 2025.
